Mcgrath was a very good bowler but he is not in the class of sultan of swing. Sachin, Aravinda,Lara & Jayasuriya always said that Akram was the most difficult bowler to face. Mcgrath was a boring bowler. Just run in and pitch the ball in the same spot all day long. What had Mcgrath contributed to fast bowling??? zilch nada... Asif, Pollock do the same what Mcgrath did and have similar records. But there was only 1 Akram. Akram is the definition of fast bowling.

Where have sachin, lara said ? What happened to swing of sultan against top sides? :hysterical::giggle::haha: Mcgrath unlike Akram did not take lots of tail ender wickets. :haha::giggle::hysterical: Jayasuriya , Lara, Aravinda were Mcgrath's bunny . Mcgrath has better record than Akram .:hysterical::haha:

Mcgrtah was a new ball bully and played most of his career on good pitches. He was a failure in subcontinent. In Pakistan, Mcgrath averaged of 30+ . Akram averaged 24 in Aus.

Akram averaged 55 against Australia in 1999 tour :haha::hysterical::giggle: And then Akram cowardly skipped 2002 tour against Australia

Akram averaged 24 in Aus.[/quote'] Akram I think was an old ball bully, if not for reverse swinging the old ball on flat sub-continental pitches he would have finished with a creer average in excess of 40. One could even say he was a sub-continental bully since he didn't dominate his peers when bowling australia etc. So he was two bullies whereas Mcgrath was merely one.

McGrath's cricketing/playing record is far more notable than Asif. Asif's criminal record on the other hand beats McGrath's.
Does asif dominate his peers when it comes to rap sheets? :woot:
