vvvslaxman Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 I found this in a chat during NZ/SL match Ictian: support for pakistan will be less this year......DUE TO THE ARRIVAL OF AFGHANISTAN, TERRORISTS will be confused who to support •• :cantstop:
zen Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 but we are discussing t20 here and i can apply the same things in my argument' date=' that your players performed good and you are number 1 in tests, and same here for pakistan in t20, our players have performed good in t20s thats why we are on the top of radar.[/quote'] Let's see if they can make it to the semis at least :P

You registered 9 wins against minnows and 1 or 2 wins over top teams. That is a pretty small sample to call yourself great in this format. You just got whopped by Zimboks.
Pak_Forever Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 Last time, I thought Pak victory was more abt fluke and luck (even though they have a good T20 record and were probably one of the favs). If I recall correctly, they got in to the 2nd round by beating Ireland (iirc) then had to beat BD and NZ to get in to the semis. Semis onwards some of their guys were showing good form, they had a couple of good games, while the other teams had bad games (may be law of averages catching up to them). And then you have Pak as the T20 WC winners :WTF: .... on top of that we have to put up with those delusional fans, who think that IPL were wrong in ignoring players from the T20 world champion team :hehe: If they do it this time or at least get to the semis then I will give it to them that they have a good T20 team :P :hysterical: thanks for the laugh

zen Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 :hysterical: thanks for the laugh Thank Pakistan (and its delusional fans) for that :winky:
Pakistan-India Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 You guys are not good in T20. You registered 9 wins against minnows and 1 or 2 wins over top teams. That is a pretty small sample to call yourself great in this format. You just got whopped by Zimboks. pakistan have won 22 T20s over all, 22-9=13 India have won 10 games over all.
vvvslaxman Posted May 1, 2010 Posted May 1, 2010 pakistan have won 22 T20s over all, 22-9=13 India have won 10 games over all. That makes your team even worse. Never beat us :finger:
vvvslaxman Posted May 1, 2010 Posted May 1, 2010 Need both to lose :(( Bangla boys can actually beat these guys. None of Pakistan players is comfortable against left arm spin. They just have to load their side with left arm spinners and bowl all 20 overs with spin.
Feed Posted May 1, 2010 Author Posted May 1, 2010 Asif dropped from Pak's T20 WC opener Defending champions Pakistan have dropped pacer Mohammad Asif for their ICC T20 WC opener against Bangladesh on Saturday after he went wicket-less in the warm-up matches. More... Saturday 1st May 2010 Asif dropped from Pak's T20 WC opener Defending champions Pakistan have dropped pacer Mohammad Asif for their ICC T20 WC opener against Bangladesh on Saturday after he went wicket-less in the warm-up matches. There are also concerns that the recent financial dispute with popular actress and model Veena Malik has affected him psychologically. "Mohammad Sami will play in his place and we have finalised the playing eleven for the opening match," he said. Sources close to the team said the worst fears of the management had come true and Asif was definitely not at his best in the Pakistan camp. "The public spat with Veena has definitely affected him and shifted his focus from cricket, he is struggling to regain his confidence," an insider said. The dispute between Asif and Veena, who were in 2008 and 2009 very close to getting married, took place when Veena claimed that the fast bowler owed her around Rs 15 million. Although a common friend stepped in to resolve the dispute between the two there was still some misunderstanding between them and Veena was unhappy that Asif had gone ahead and got married to a girl chosen by his family.
Mamu Posted May 1, 2010 Posted May 1, 2010 Damn -- after reading the headlines - i was sure he was caught doing drugs again.
siddhu Posted May 1, 2010 Posted May 1, 2010 I hope he is not dropped for the next match.... Because if they do... and if the padosis loose then they will have the biggest excuse that the best bowler in the world and the best thing after sliced bread (or is it Afridi) was not played and we lost...:hysterical::hysterical:
f2000560 Posted May 1, 2010 Posted May 1, 2010 probably smoking pot listening to some rasta music ? or maybe injecting himself with steroids ! why is he still in international cricket wasn't he tested positive twice ??? :hitler:
Pak_Forever Posted May 1, 2010 Posted May 1, 2010 Asif is an awesome Test bowler (probably the best right now), good ODI bowlers and well he hasn't found his grooves yet in T20. Lack of pace and sluggish pitches won't help him in WI.
punjabi_khota Posted May 1, 2010 Posted May 1, 2010 asif is a failure in ODI and T20 arena...and barely manages to make his presence felt unless ball is doing a bit in tests..explains his failure in Pakistan in test matches and most other places with flat tracks...averages 30+ in australia too.
