(Planning to watch it today) The golden rule with Salman Khan movies: The more nonsensical it gets, the more entertaining it is. And Dabanng was much more masala/style/nonsense than Ready. DomainK Posted June 7, 2011 Share Posted June 7, 2011 Watched Hanna. Found it very average. The story makes no sense, the characters make no sense, the action scenes are not very interesting. The girl looked invincible when she managed to escape from a high security facility after killing a bunch of highly trained agents and then she became vulnerable as a few more start chasing her. The guy hides like a coward for years, trains a girl for 16 years to assassinate a target as if there was no other way the mission could have been accomplished, but when the girl fails at first, he goes straight to the target's home and almost killed her. If he could do that much, he could have accomplished the mission on his own without risking the girl's life. The girl is amused by tube lights, gets scared of coffee pots and ceiling fans as she has never seen them, but can detect cameras and shoot them and can use the internet to find out details of a former CIA secret agent and a lot more. She was trained all her life for one mission. And when on the mission, she leaked top secret information to a couple of kids because she wanted friends? WTF? The whole storyline is BS. youngindia Posted June 7, 2011 Share Posted June 7, 2011 Just wacthed "Charade" and guess what, bollywood has been copying since the 60'sm the title music was made into the famous "Gumnam" song :haha: actually gumnaam is bollywood's version of agatha christie's "and then there were none". also often known as "ten little indians". atleast four english film versions of the novel exist and there are russian and italian versions as well. Totally meaningless, but an entertainer nevertheless. Not as meaningless and entertaining as Dabanng. But it is still pretty entertaining. I am liking these new small budget bollywood films than the typical masala **** that bollywood produces.
