Guys is Kaminey ok for family viewing (i.e mum and sister...)
depends on your family actually .. there are gaalis and a somewhat steamy scene between Shahid and Priyanka.. there is also the mention of pre-marital sex and all those.. the starting part is more problematic for family viewing.. but that depends upon open your whole family is in these subjects.. my parents are still conservative and so I would not watch with them :--D If you watch U/A rated English films with your family then you can watch it .. by English films standard it should be U/A rated rather than A rated

cheers Viru, Temujin My folks are pretty conservative. More than anything it is very cringe inducing when watching that kinda thing with your ma. I dont know how to react- i normally fast forward. I think 'steamy scene' kinda means its a no-no hehe ive got Love Aaj Kal too, im sure that will be condusive to family viewing

if you said your family is pretty conservative and no-no for steamy scenes then Love Aaj Kal :dontknow: .. its been a long time and I did not watch it devotedly but I remember some not very safe dialogues etc. at the starting 15 mins of the movie.. BTW you have to leave all Indian movies nowadays if your family is too conservative.. there is at least adult humor in almost all recent movies barring maybe Aamir Khan movies :dontknow:

I believe blood diamonds still make it to the market. :((
The Kimberley process has helped, but yes, sadly they still make it to the market. Let me tell you, after seeing the movie I've been thinking twice before even looking at a nice piece of jewelery.

So i knew what to expect from the movie. Another similar type of movie is Lord of War, about a gunrunner. BTW according to you was DiCario's south african accent believable?

Leo's accent was pretty good I think. Haven't seen Lord of War yet.

That's another good movie. Shows how trafficking of weapons takes place. In my opinion it has one of the best opening sequence for a movie.
