Desi Cartman Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 is it me or Prachi Desai has blossomed into a total hottie! Sometimes you sound like this man
DomainK Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 Watched Bol Bachhan. It's a good funny time pass movie. Asin looks her worst in this movie, Prachi looks good, but needs to act better. Ajay and Abhishek were top class in some scenes. Support actors were also good. Typical Rohit Shetty movie. For those who don't know, it's an adaptation of the old Golmaal.
Sir john Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 watched sacha jhootha great singinging by kishore da 6/10 :good:
Texy Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 Sometimes you sound like this man it's very hard :woot:
Prakat Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 Three movies he made called golmaal, it didn't strike him then. :hehe:
Desi Cartman Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 it's very hard :woot: OMFG ... :omg: reminds me of Ihh4ipuRjAc
Prakat Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 it's very hard :woot: bra duly noted. But faaark! She's got to stop looking like a cheap wig model. It's like a bad wig and it's like been just tossed on her head or something.
Mariyam Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 Bol Bachchan' date='genuinely funny and entertaining.[/quote'] I found Bol Bachchan to be awful. Apart from Golmaal 1, everything Rohit Shetty has made has been awful ( and that's me being very considerate to him). I think his career goals is to become the first director to make a truly pathetic movie in every genre. He's made a crappy comedy in Bol Bachchan, a crappy action movie in Singham, and a crappy horror movie in Golmaal 2. Now the only genre remaining is love triangle. He should soon attempt a movie with a love triangle and enter the record books.

Singham was pathetic but it was "Ready" kind of movie. If I had known that he directed Golmaals then I would have probably skipped Bol Bachan.
akshayxyz Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 Watched 3 good movies on the trot Kahaani, Vicky Donor, Udaan. All 3 excellent pieces of work, except for minor plot holes (as per me) esp in Kahaani and a bit in Udaan.
akshayxyz Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 After reading some good reviews of "Bol Bachchan", I checked out the trailer - even that was unbearable.
Crookbond Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 Watched 3 good movies on the trot Kahaani, Vicky Donor, Udaan. All 3 excellent pieces of work, except for minor plot holes (as per me) esp in Kahaani and a bit in Udaan. I have watched Kahaani and Vicky Donor in a movie theatre - surely one time watch for me. Is Udaan recommended? Is it the run-of-the-mill plot or is there something new in the story?
Crookbond Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 I also recommend "The Oxford Murderers" for mathematical geeks. It has Frodo and Gandalf too
Texy Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 Bol Bachchan was pretty disappointing. Few genuine laugh scenes...the rest is garbage...even the action scenes were shot in 1980s style...Rohit Shetty were u told to keep a tight budget or not very confident in your product? With so much money invested & earned on a regular basis...not sure why Bollywood lacks originality, innovation. Abhishek Bachchan was really good though. Ajay Devgan's wrong english dialogue delivery wasn't funny at all. Asin's monotonic dialogue delivery was nauseating...whoever did her makeup and dress should be fired immediately..even Archana Puran Singh looked better than Asin. Prachi was cute, acting prowess is very very limited though. Asrani & the guy who played his son was funny at times. WTF is up w/ this stereotyping? NOT all gays walk n act like that..wtf? Music was an ear-sore. Not sure how Himesh still gets music contracts. I had to skip every song...probably saved 30 mins of my life. At the beginning, there was a mention of "special thanks to Aamir khan" ....I didn't see any Aamir special appearance or did I miss it? My rating 5/10

Is it the run-of-the-mill plot or is there something new in the story? Udaan is a very serious movie centered around a teen and his abusive relationship with his father (mental & physical not sexual abuse)- definitely not run of the mill
