I read the manga many months back when i saw the trailer so the movie seemed ok to me' date=' without the manga background it would have been better i am sure and there were some stupid people in the theater laughing every time tom cruise woke up :mad:[/quote'] I just watched it and enjoyed it overall, good action movie. However How did Cruise know so much about his fellow 'J Squad' soldiers.. like that guys school teacher etc .. and also the name and so many details about the generals sercretary... are we meant to believe he got all that info on his trips through time... that is not exactly believable though is it, it is not stuff that will realistically come up in conversation. Its an important plot point because it is how he convinces J Squad to go along with him and convinces the General to give him the transponder thingy ma jig

Probably hundreds of times. Some of those times he got close to the squad members and they had conversations. That's how he knew about them all.

There is no logic or sense in the story. Everytime I see the cops chasing him while he causing deaths and destruction on they way, I almost shout "why cant the shoot the ****er" :wall: I have no idea why people like this movie.

Watch the whole movie.......you will see flashes of many Hollywood movies and games p.s. If you have played roadrash then check out Amir Khan's bike stunts in the movie....

Its an important plot point because it is how he convinces J Squad to go along with him and convinces the General to give him the transponder thingy ma jig I found teacher bit a little odd too, but you can justify it by saying they might have discussed such things over the card games they keep playing. Remember he hides the card game in one of the time loops. The general's secretary bit didn't seem completely odd to me. He just spoke about what the lady was about to say to the general. The secretary's son bit did seem out of place though But there is nothing about this in the manga, only the time reset plot by the two soldiers is borrowed from it. The rest of the details are all movie specific.

gaurav92 Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 If the Indian Olympic Association watches the movie they might decide to send only Sonakshi Sinha for the Olympics :hysterical: Yes excellent in all sports In the boxing game, the other one was waiting for Sonakshi to ht her hard on the face, no blocking no movement of the head, perhaps the director told her not to :nice: And in the other scene, Akki won the race running backwards while Sonakshi and others can't overtake him in the race :facepalm: The only good part in the movie was when the terrorist was treated with disdain by Akshay - cutting of the fingers and stuff, apart from that, there was nothing in the movie.

How ? you watched the whole film? :omg: i only watched up to the part when amir's twin is discovered. i think the englishmen feeling was amir's attempt at creating an authentic aura around the film. it was authentic, but wrong decade :giggle:

Btw she also hated it and was shouting in the second half "why are the cops not shooting the idiot"
