Why Sri Lanka will win the 2011 T20 CRICKET World Cup India , Pakistan and Sri Lanka are linked in a strange way when it comes to world cups. Look at this…. 50 overs 1983 – India win the world cup 1992 – Pakistan win the world cup 1996 – Sri Lankans win the world cup Next….. 1999 – Australia beat Pakistan to win the world cup. 2003 – Australia beat India to win the world cup 2007 – Australia beat Sri Lanka to win the world cup. T20 world cup 2007 – india beat Pakistan to win the world cup 2009 – Pakistan beat sri lanka to win the world cup So he he he …. by illogical logic…. 2011 – Sri lanka beats india to win the world cup. Since 1983 bar 1987 atleast one Asian team has reached the world cup final. In T20 so far no Non-Asian teams have reached finals yet. 1983 - India 1987 - None 1992 - Pakistan 1996 - SL 1999 - Pakistan 2003 - India 2007 - SL
