HowardRoark Posted May 9, 2010 Posted May 9, 2010 so if karthik fails.. another thread gonna start up with either vijay opening or rohit opening?? point is if you have someone with talent, you gotta have patience with him.. and not just randomly go with the next guy on couple of failures.. +1 I wonder sometimes if there is any difference between some of us and the padosi fans.
zen Posted May 9, 2010 Posted May 9, 2010 If I am not wrong, Karthik has a good record against WI and in WI. So if I were the captain, I would have him in the playing 11, batting in the top 3 .... YP can sit out and may be come back in (if one of the top 6-7 still appears to be struggling) against SL as he can be good against SL spinners at St Lucia

But Dhoni won't drop him as he bowled okay last time :( . But playing both Ravi and Yusuf is a mistake. Drop Ravi and use Yuvi as your left arm option.
zen Posted May 9, 2010 Posted May 9, 2010 This would be my playing 11 .... and how Ind should go abt imo

Id agree with you if it was a group match or a meaningless tour...given the importance of the match for our survival in the comp I do hope Vijay comes good, a blistering half ton or something..cmon son
achilles Posted May 9, 2010 Posted May 9, 2010 Thank you for reposing India's faith in you, Murali. Keep up the good work. Hope to see you playing the IPL and Afghanistan more often :cheer:
