i know that u guys must be cursing him,but i think he was good.just got taken in by the pressuremcan happen to any debutant i was impressed with him.had 2 for 13 in 3 before that over.i think he bowled well,showed nice control n variations.could've been a great option in Barbados with his high arm action.dunno why Dhoni didnt pick him i think he can be a handy LOI bowler.wat u guys think

Yeah I agree, did pretty well under the circumstances. He looked far more hungrier and committed than Zaheer or Nehra. Speaking of Nehra, I am so fed up watching him walk back to his mark looking totally exhausted, someone would have thought he had run a marathan not throw done 3 deliveries!!

handy bowler but definately not a death option... i say this not because of yesterday . even in the IPL he was poor at the death case in point 6 and 4 of 2 balls to andrew symonds to seal the match

He did as well as his ability allows him to, really - he is not good enough to bowl in the death overs. For a debutant in a high pressure game his initial overs were very good and even including the death over he still bowled better than Zak did all tournament.

thats becauseof his pace,his highest is 130ks n hes not going to get is yorkers effective in that pace.its the same with Praveen,he crap in death as well

I blame the batting, there was no urgency shown by Dhoni especially. Raina got out trying to hit boundaries, but Dhoni and Pathan were content running 1 and 2's. I remember when Pathan leaving a slow bouncer shoulder high, I was virtually p*ssed my pants laughing, I mean it was in the last couple of overs!!!

VK is good but nowhere near world class .. we dont need another set of trundlers to replace our present set .. we need to build quality bowlers soon instead of these bunch of trundlers

This is exactly you have to give more chances to those who are hungry especially in T20. Intensity will be there. Dinda is another guy who gives 100%.

He gives it a lot more effort than other world-class players in the team. One guy who is not world class is Yusuf Pathan. He is a FTB and he should be given the boot. He shd be nowhere near the national ODI/Test or even T20 team. He flays bowlers in flat pitches, but he is clueless in the international scene. The other Pathan is much better option than this fake one.
