kabira Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 1) World Cup title 50-50 2) Champions Trophy ownership 3) T20 Ownership 4) Champion League Ownership All at the same. Well But but We are No. 1 Test team :clap::clap::clap:
vvvslaxman Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 It was just an aberration that they have been inconsistent in T20. But i bet they give more importance to ODI world cup and Tests especially Ashes.
hitman1980 Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 And u know it may sound strange .. But I really want Australia to win .. cos I don't want England to win with tht IPL kind of team ..
vvvslaxman Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 And u know it may sound strange .. But I really want Australia to win .. cos I don't want England to win with tht IPL kind of team .. Australia will win. Australia/NZ, Australia/England usually those teams know each other very well. Mental toughness of Aussies will give them an added advantage.
kabira Posted May 15, 2010 Author Posted May 15, 2010 if they win, being defending champion of all major events will be awesome. No other team can match that.
zen Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 A fact about India: The only team in the world to win ODI WC, T20 WC, CT and be ranked #1 in tests. If Aus wins tomm, then it will join the league :--D

kabira Posted May 15, 2010 Author Posted May 15, 2010 ^yeah and that too first team to do that. No one can beat that. But thats not the point. Point is they will be doing at the same time. Not in different generations.

Not in different generations. Really? Hussey, Tait, and Clarke are the only guys who played both WC 07 ODI and T20 WC 10?
Tridibans_16 Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 If Australia's top order fails again, i would'nt be surprised if England can wrap things up easily as they won't be lucky in back to back games. You never know:winky: P.S: The way hussey played in the last game, it once again proves the fact that in T20 anything is posiible
cowboysfan Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 i have a hate-respect relationship with the aussies, their mental fortitude is among the best in have seen (in all of sports).
saneindian Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 Eng with their relatively unknown players like Lumb, Swetter, Morgan, Yardy and Bresnan have a better chance of succeeding against Aussies. It's somehow very similar to how our team of relative unknows surprised the world in 2007 t20 wc.
hitman1980 Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 Very true .. its more like an IPL team with no 4 foreign player restriction ..
