Serani Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 Yeh, Indian trundlers on flat tracks can get anyone in form, THANKS IPL!
satyam1729 Posted May 17, 2010 Author Posted May 17, 2010 Yeh' date=' Indian trundlers on flat tracks can get anyone in form, THANKS IPL![/quote'] What is the average of Lara against Indian trundlers ?
Serani Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 Going off topic. Either way it just shows how little the IPL means if the English bowling attack which was the best in the tournament had 0 IPL players.
nballa Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 the quality of cricket in IPL is better than what people give it credit for. better than the national leagues of all other countries put together. they should remove the restriction of only 4 overseas players and it will only get better.

Poor fielding and poor bowling, yes the IPL is the best tournament in the world for flat track bullies.
nballa Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 Poor fielding and poor bowling' date=' yes the IPL is the best tournament in the world for flat track bullies.[/quote'] i'd take KP's word over yours any day. because you know.......
Serani Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 you guys need to learn to read the hidden message. he says that he doesn't consider most of english players to be actually 'english'. meaning white. in fact he is singling out sajid mahmood and ravi bopara. he is very clever and masked it up by pointing out to lumb and ksweitter. And I would take anybodys word over yours, the only reason KP got back into the form in the IPl is because its so easy to score runs.
CSK Fan Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 Poor fielding and poor bowling' date=' yes the IPL is the best tournament in the world for flat track bullies.[/quote'] Australian attack was the best on show not England. Tait, Nannes all were a part of IPL, werent they?
Serani Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 Australian attack was the best on show not England. Tait' date=' Nannes all were a part of IPL, werent they?[/quote'] Erm, England were the best attack on show. Australian attack got destroyed by Pakistan and England and were one dimensional.
jusarrived Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 Going off topic. Either way it just shows how little the IPL means if the English bowling attack which was the best in the tournament had 0 IPL players. are u suggesting that Eng bowling won them the tournament not ur batting?
Serani Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 are u suggesting that Eng bowling won them the tournament not ur batting? No, both won the tournament but the bowling was better than the batting.
CSK Fan Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 Erm, England were the best attack on show. Australian attack got destroyed by Pakistan and England and were one dimensional. Austalia bowled out SL under 100 and defeated india by and WI by huge margins. The Pak game was their only off game. in the final, a target of 140 was too low to defend

mastana Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 Kieswetter, Pietersen, Lumb, Morgan, Bopara, Ajmal Shahzad England team's quality and quantity is better than any IPL team. :two_thumbs_up:
Clarke Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 Going off topic. Either way it just shows how little the IPL means if the English bowling attack which was the best in the tournament had 0 IPL players. Err, ur thinking the other way. In general, an international player has 2 prove his worth to make the big bucks in the IPL. IPL is supposed to be (in theory) a launching pad for Indian talent, not English or South African youngsters. And its not like England has had a super duper T20 bowling attack all along. This was you first major victory, sustained performances will ensure representation in the IPL. Ofcourse, if the English prefer county cricket, thats another story.
Serani Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 A month in county cricket would do the Indian "pacers" much more good than playing in the IPL. The IPL is just a way to kill your career if you are a bowler.
Clarke Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 ^^ A month in IPL is good 4 ur bank balance and career in the Indian team, says an Indian bowler :((
Temujin Khaghan Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 A month in county cricket would do the Indian "pacers" much more good than playing in the IPL. The IPL is just a way to kill your career if you are a bowler. actually thats how zaheer got a second lease of life in intl cricket. hope they send raina for a season after wc11. nah they wont... bcci is too greedy... they wont even leave the supporting star cast.
vvvslaxman Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 Poor fielding and poor bowling' date=' yes the IPL is the best tournament in the world for flat track bullies.[/quote'] It is very hard to match poor fielding of Pakistan by any IPL team :giggle: If a batsman is flat track bully then bowler is fast track bully. Great bowlers do well on all pitches. Example Mcgrath, Donald. Average, mediocre bowlers start peeing moment they see a pitch with has nothing in it. That is what England bowlers are . Ask them to do well in India before we consider them as worthy bowlers.
