saneindian Posted May 28, 2010 Posted May 28, 2010 He will want IPL to be played all year long :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:
Ahmed Posted May 28, 2010 Posted May 28, 2010 I remember one Darrell Tuffey made 80 runs against a certain team' date=' hauritz made 76 against the same team :winky: .[/quote'] Who cares about those innings, neither Tuffey nor Hauritz were playing today. The matter of fact is that India were thumped by Zimbabwe today. After a humiliating T20 WC the losses keep coming. I feel for you guys.
youngindia Posted May 28, 2010 Posted May 28, 2010 thinking about that is the only way u cud get urself to sleep tonight and btw ur shameless loss has got nothing to do with pakistan i dont even know y ur mentioning it here i pity u i really do.... :haha::haha::haha: do ppl call u the master bakwaasi in your area? there is a good reason why. consider the facts. 1. your full strength team lost to zimbabwe at home in a test series .test cricket is the real test of cricketing skills. 2. and you come here ranting about a meaningless one dayer's loss where we intentionally put up a second string team for the future. who is the shameless loser here? :hysterical: BTW, u guys are not sincere enough in celebrating that glorious achievement of your side.its a great pity. because not many teams can achieve that ! :hysterical:

vvvslaxman Posted May 28, 2010 Posted May 28, 2010 3 seamers all debutants. . For us they are just zimbabwe. For them it is a big match. So i am going to cut some slack.
Ahmed Posted May 28, 2010 Posted May 28, 2010 Of Zimbabwes top 5 successful chases 3 of them have come against India. Tells a lot about your bowling. Now some jokers will bring in Pakistan again....
The Outsider Posted May 28, 2010 Posted May 28, 2010 Of Zimbabwes top 5 successful chases 3 of them have come against India. Tells a lot about your bowling. Just look around the forum, you will find copious amount of abuse and criticism of our trundlers. Not sure what you are trying to imply. :dontknow:
Guest Hiten. Posted May 28, 2010 Posted May 28, 2010 Of Zimbabwes top 5 successful chases 3 of them have come against India. Tells a lot about your bowling. Now some jokers will bring in Pakistan again.... For all your talk about you carrying best bowlers or producing raw talents, it's just a lullaby that helps you go to sleep because at the sight of australians you're bowlers and batsmen run away because you now know that even in your wildest of dream you cannot beat them forget about coming close to one :giggle:. If you're trying to find solace in India's poor bowling attack, i'd have a look at your own bowling again and stop throwing stones in a glass house. You were bloody lucky that the T20 you played against Zim was not official but you're team had lost to them and did no better than India yet went to the semis :cantstop:

Gunner_Mania Posted May 28, 2010 Posted May 28, 2010 I was just looking at Zimbabwes biggest run chases on Cricinfo and noticed this fact. What is wrong with that? Who said anything was wrong about what you were looking at? The question was what you were implying at, when we Indians know that we are not a bowling powerhouse?
cowboysfan Posted May 28, 2010 Posted May 28, 2010 this is a pointless series and i dont really care for the result.having said that this series will also illustrate the utter ineptitude of the Indian bowling unit where the bowlers have forgotten the art of getting wickets in limited overs cricket.
Ahmed Posted May 28, 2010 Posted May 28, 2010 Who said anything was wrong about what you were looking at? It is just fun, nothing serious :--D
Gunner_Mania Posted May 28, 2010 Posted May 28, 2010 Well someone here started talking about Pakistani bowlers when Pakistan had nothing to to with this thread so I just chipped in with that. It is just fun, nothing serious :--D Dude you were the one who started posting without understanding anything in context. When VVVS said little losses, all he meant was lossess in such pointless ODI series would help us understand our future resources / bench strength and hence such experiments were necessary. He didnt talk about anything about a loss by a big margin or small.
kabira Posted May 28, 2010 Posted May 28, 2010 LOL. This is most inexperience bowling attack we must have tried since ODI came into play. I give kudos to our selectors and BCCI for doing this. This is more of A team. Good to test them under real conditions. I think even SL is doing the same resting big players. I just want to see who all are pretenders and remove them for good. So far I am not impressed with any of the seamers. But this was their debut and pitch was placid. So lets see if they can deliver it. Also you need swing bowler, they did not take even one swing bowler. I would have tried irfan pathan here.
hari504504 Posted May 28, 2010 Posted May 28, 2010 yup... don't mind these loss/es at all.... its time to gauge our bech strength with WC2011 looming...
Show_stopper Posted May 28, 2010 Posted May 28, 2010 yup... don't mind these loss/es at all.... its time to gauge our bech strength with WC2011 looming... And it is pretty poor. People can claim what they want...but this series matters. If these guys can't win against Zim..they won't be winning against anyone else.
S.Bond Posted May 28, 2010 Posted May 28, 2010 Agreed that India is testing their bench strengh in a pointless series... But guys you shoud admit, it does hurt to see that kind of bench strengh?? I, personnaly am very exited when Pak play a yougster or any team play a yougster to see what he will do, the same for everyone. And that should have been very painful to see that your futur stars : vijay, kholi, raina, sharma, mishra, dinda, yadav lost to zimbabwe... There is no harm in admitting this...

Don't know about others, but it's not painful to me at all. The batting did alright - could have done better, but not too disappointed. And the bowling is just driving home the harsh realities that India's best hope in the near future lies in Zaheer, Ishant, Sreesanth, RP Singh, and Pathan regaining some of their lost form and find some kind of rhythm because our bench strength in the fast bowling department is barely above club level. No wonder that all these wonder kids shine at club level IPL and the entire nation of blind fans, with little to zero knowledge of cricket, proclaim them as our saviors. I am pretty happy that doodh ka doodh aur paani ka paani ho raha hai.
