Looks like no one take interest in the match since yesterday! Anyway, WI A came up with a strong reply to India's 543/8dec. and two of its batsmen hit splendid tons, in which their skipper Devon Smith had scored a big 170 while Flether hit 123. But today, Indian bowlers finished them off, at 563 runs and then both the teams agreed that it was a draw. Unadkat took 3, Abdullah's marathon effort of bowling 50 overs resulted in 3 wickets too, part timers MK Tiwari and S Dhawan took 2 and 1 wickets respectively. All in all, this track seemed like a featherbed where batsmen kept going forever and only two innings could result in 4 days.
India A lacked 2 strike fast bowlers here...and Abdulla is a nothing spinner....KP Apanna is better than him....

I had said earlier that had Mithun and Tyagi been in this match it'd have been interesting and we also need to groom Ojha for test. This was a perfect tour for him.

WI 'A' draw with India 'A' Lower-order half-centuries from Dave Bernard Jr and Gavin Tonge earned West Indies ’A’ a high-scoring draw in the second and final four-day ’Test’ against India ’A’, yesterday. More... WI 'A' draw with India 'A' CROYDON Monday, June 21st 2010 Lower-order half-centuries from Dave Bernard Jr and Gavin Tonge earned West Indies ’A’ a high-scoring draw in the second and final four-day ’Test’ against India ’A’, yesterday. Bernard scored 70 and Tonge made 54, to follow-up sound hundreds from ’A’ Team captain Devon Smith and compatriot Andre Fletcher the previous day, as Windies ’A’ were dismissed just before the scheduled close for 563, replying to the India ’A’ first innings total of 543 for eight declared, on the final day at Whitgift School. The result meant that India ’A’ won the two-’Test’ series 1-0, after they won the opening ’Test’ by six wickets two Sundays ago, at Grace Road. West Indies ’A’ had continued from their overnight total of 332 for three, and the overnight pair of Smith and Kirk Edwards carried them over the 400-run threshold in a stand for the fourth wicket of 123. Smith made 170 (22 fours, 312 balls) and Edwards 40.

So India A wins the two FC match series, 1-0 with WI A. Now India will have that triangular List A tournament in which England A or Eng Lions will be there along with WI A and India A. Let us see how their skills are in limited overs games.

What a terrible score! Dhawan gone for a 5 ball duck while Pujara getting dismissed for a 3 ball duck. Why can't these players play well whenever they face an opposition which can be as good or even better in quality? Pandey got a little overexcited and went for a 32 in 29 balls. Only Rahane is holding fort till now. Hope he gets good support from Tiwari as they have to bat 32 more overs. Scotland team is : DF Watts, EF Chalmers, RD Berrington, NFI McCallum, DR Lockhart†, MM Iqbal, RT Lyons, GD Drummond*, G Goudie, MA Parker But who are the other members of Indian XI?

India A is now 174/3 in 33 overs with Rahane batting on 70 of 94 deliveries and Tiwari batting on 59 of 67 deliveries. Indian players in the XI are: AM Rahane S Dhawan CA Pujara* MK Pandey MK Tiwary WP Saha†, Bipul Sharma, Iqbal Abdulla, Jaskaran Singh, DS Kulkarni, JD Unadkat Isn't this the same XI which played the FC matches against WI A? Who are the other members? Tyagi is injured. But other 2 members?

Why are the Scots playing with only 10 players?
Maybe cricinfo knows the names of only 10 players from Scotland? PS: The score is 214/4 in 40.2 overs. Rahane is still unbeaten on 97 but Tiwari went back, scoring 71 runs in 84 balls. Rahane is pacing his inning well.
