Wins will soon come -- Waqar

Pakistan may have gone through turmoil in recent months, and suffered a league-stage exit in the Asia Cup, but coach Waqar Younis has said it will only be a matter of time before they start winning matches. Pakistan ended their campaign in Sri Lanka with a 139-run win against Bangladesh in Dambulla, after losing to the hosts and India. "We are very close to being winners," Waqar said. "We didn't do badly in the T20 World Cup and even in this tournament. It's just that one extra step you need to take and start winning the games. I think it will come very soon. We got heaps of cricket after this. I think by the time we finish the England tour, or start the South African tour, we will start winning and we will look good. We still look a good side at the moment and these youngsters need a bit more time.
When Waqar When? How soon is soon? It is looking all dark and gloomy from where I stand Waqar, both in terms of Paki Cricket and Paki Nation ! Hopeless I must say !

what delusion. pakistan is a third rate club level side. crap batsmen. crap bowlers. and laughable, school boy level fielding. if they impress in one department, they will inevitably fail in the other 2. it always happens. how anyone can expect such a *****y team to win games is beyond me. the logic seems to be that this paki team has a few young players and that they can be expected to improve as time goes on. BUT HOW DO YOU EXPECT CRICKETERS WITH NO NOTICEABLE TALENT to improve ? is afridi going to lift his batting average above 24 anytime soon ? is salman butts going to become a batsman that averages over 50 ? is mohhommid aamar going to become a world claash bowler that averages below 30 anytime soon ? i highly doubt it. BOTTOM LINE - YOU CANNOT POLISH A TURD. and the paki team has plenty of TURDS.

:haha: waqar comment must have taken away your good night ZzZz....Pakistan has been playing decent cricket, only need to learn to do things well during the end of the inning to finish with more wins. We have done awesomely well in all recent ICC events...much better than all the flat track pretenders so all is not lost.

I kind of agree with waqar. They are playing as a team and nearly beat India. Their batting is not experienced and if they can unb& Younus khan then they will start winning a lot sooner Phaast boiling isnt that phhast anymore So if they can fix batting and bowling then they will surely win some matches

Your only issue is luck, once you have luck then do you can do the phuk

^ also Indians own ICC ... :orderorder: thats why the Indian players dont get penalized for saying BC MC on field while its not a question if a paki starts it or participates in the abuse-fest. Its all evil BCCI/ICC/SLCB/CA

Let me see how many paki morons who are defending Waqar -- will stand here when they are going to get a hot steaming rod shafted into them in the next 9 months to a year. They will run away from this forum

No they won't.. They will still be here arguing that since we won a lot of matches in the 90s and we have overall better record against India we are a better team...:finger::finger:
