I somehow doubt you would have said the same things had it been RD in place of Baasu that was made the honorary Group Captain. FWIW .... the Great man probably added a few feathers to IAF (not the otherway around) .... a Organization where youngsters no longer compete to sign up for. I understand your point but again there are just faaaaar too many things ***ed up in this country and appointing Baasu as a Honarary group captain isnt even remotely a fked up decision. For fked up ... look at Sharad Pawar being ICC chief + Krishi Mantri .... or Mata Rome being elected unapposed for the Nth time etc etc ... hilarious country.
