chanakya
i only get bored in office other than that i dunno where do you find the time out for a gf. Pretty happy that my current travels round the world more than often so while we meet regularly the times are not wasted getting into wrong conversations. CricketGirl
You know what's worse than single life? Being with someone you fall out of love with and develop hatred for' date=' and knowing that person feels the same about you, but neither of you have the guts to call it a day because of cultural pressures. Single life seems bad when you're single, but trust me, things can be a LOT worse...[/quote'] That' the sad story of 90% married folks! :hic: boy oh boy oh boy am i happy to be in the other 10 %! Sooda
I got engaged today. I wasnt there for it sadly it was in Bangalore and Im in Leicester UK. So im still single until I get married which is likely to be next year Single life blows HARD when youre engaged and cant/wont see the other half (whom, mind you ive only ever met and spoken to once) for (potentially) a whole year. (Cheers Adi- and a massive AWWGRREWWCHHE! to you too :-)) yes i am joining the club Yeah thats right P_K- Arranged with a capital A. Met her just the once. Families know each other though. But we felt the one meeting was enough, I liked her and perhaps more suprsingly she liked me too! Muhaha So here we are. I had to come back home but mum stayed back to get things offiicialised. Well, this is the problem im not sure theyd like me speaking to her much before we actually get married so im hanging in there...
Desi Cartman
for 1 year , I spoke with my MRS everyday before we got married.. we met everyday when I was in India & once I returned we spoke everyday (for at least an HOUR).. It was a rule for me. TBH I know u like her and all (and all the best) but you'll get to know so much more over the phone. There is so much more to a person than the first meeting. It'll help you both be comfortable with each other and plan for the future together. BTW most families in India dont mind meeting-talking before the wedding. 2 of my friends cancelled their weddings just because they realized that they didnt know/like the person. One canceled 48hrs before the wedding ceremony and the other 3 months before. Just a friendly advice
