Our spinners in last 3 years have been nothing than ordinary ,picking tailenders wickets after fast bowlers have done their job and getting their stats up.Playing a third seamer is must for all conditions ,we have shewag yuvraj who are as dangerous as any spinner on turning tracks and on flat tracks frankly our frontline spinners also get hammered. So 3 seamers +bhajji is the way forward. Bhajji wickets Last years-http://stats.cricinfo.com/ci/engine/player/29264.html?class=1;spanmax1=22+Jul+2010;spanmin1=22+Jul+2008;spanval1=span;template=results;type=bowling;view=batsman_summary

huh ? we struggled to find two seamers, u want three :hmmmm2: If Zak and/or Sree were available, it might have been 3 seamers. But u cant have a rule to play 3 no matter what.

IMO, unless you have a pace bowling all-rounder, 2 seamers + 2 spinners is always going to be a bad combination. You immediately are in a fix if you are bowling first and you don't have a world class spinner in your rank. 2+2 is like neither here nor there, esp if it has bowlers like we have I would go with 2+2 only if the pitch is an absolute turner. Play the best spinner (one in form) and 3 pacers (no matter the bad they are) :--D
