A few days ago Hillary Clinton visited pakistan and as part of her trip had a discussion with young pakistani journalists. This interaction turns out to be a supreme example of abject, aggressive begging by the journos for Hillary to do just about everything - from pressurizing India to solving pakistan's electricity problem etc. And Clinton expertly deflects the requests showing the mirror to the pakis. Watch the demonstration of the art of begging. The full video http://pakistanherald.com/Program/Dunya-Today-July-19-2010-Dr-Moeed-Pirzada-4350 A six minute condensed version with Hillary's responses cut out: Ev_4ZI_hSg8 PS: I would suggest watching the full video with Clinton's responses, she absolutely humiliates them.

Not a single journo seems educated enough to speak like a mature person. It totally reflects their culture and government. Frankly, more pissed at US for feeding the pig

Ouch. Full respect to Hillary, she answered those questions very well.

More than the begging, its the attitude that surprises me. They keep saying that India did this, it did that, forgetting that they are worse. Hilary said "first fix your house before pointing towards others" in about as mild a language as it can get. She should have been more tough on these so called journalists.

One of the so called Journos simply said we have 9/11, 26/11 everyday here - so their deal is that if it happens, it means its OK if it happens everywhere.

Sometimes, I feel happy that India was partitioned. As in seriously, there is a limit to hating someone and acting stupid to get your work done. Its not even funny anymore. People across the border need to stop their propaganda. Rather than channelizing their funds towards development of the people, they choose to build missiles after missiles, while people die of hunger out there. About time, we see a mature Pakistan.

Pakistan's sole existence is to Hate India and they use that every time to inspire their troops and armed forces. Pakistan as a nation has been taught since childhood to hate India and while shielding and hiding their own atrocities...they feed garbage like Indians terrorize Pakistan, Indians terrorize innocent muslims in Kashmir and every kashmiri wants to be with Pakistan just like 40 yrs ago they use their propaganda machine to tell every citizen how much east bengalis wanted to be with Pakistan. Pakistan use to hate India, hates India everyday, will always hate India and Indians, especially non muslims, Jealous of India's achievements (ISI targets universities and intellectual establishments as we have seen from the attack in Bangalore)...They did the same thing 40 yrs ago in Bangladesh --- targetting the intellectual community first and eliminating the resistance to their hardline, fundamental, barbaric, medieval ways

That was quite hilarious, seeing her repeatedly deflecting their pleas. I found it funny when the host was asking about how the US can open up trade with Pak, Hillary say's "Well we have just started to import Mangoes from Pakistan", lol, yep the mongoes will sort Pakistan's economic woes.

Although I agree with almost everyone here about the Pak journos and their society in general, how good are we at holding up a mirror to our own society? Reg hating Pak and Pakistanis let us not have a holier than thou attitude... we Indians are not much better towards them. In fact the very fact that someone posts something aired on a Pak tv channel here shows that we are equally obsessed with them.

There’s a war going in their country, people are dying, terrorists killing people both inside and outside Pakistan and they’re talking about some redundant dams and an illusionary nuclear deal. They should raise the heads above the sand and begin to understand what the rest of the world really thinks about them.

Are you serious about comparing us with them? They are a problem for us, terrorists come across the border, and hence we discuss them. Tell us in what way we have created trouble in their country?

sometimes? indians should be grateful for partition every single day. imagine sharing a country with these retards...:((:((:((
Partition has created more problems than it has solved. There would be no Kashmir issue, just the standard Hindu-Muslim cr@p which we still have anyways, plus we will have no retarded neighboring country dancing with nukes.

I'm just saying our people are often as obsessed about them as they are about us. No comparisons between pplz. Whether it is celebrating when the others teams lose (feeling sad today btw :() or getting a sadistic pleasure out of seeing other ppl do poorly is not exclusive to Pakistanis. Indians do that to an unhealthy level themselves. Agreed our nation is not united only by hating Pakistan and Pakistanis unlike the vice versa... but I'm just saying as Indians we do enough Pak- hating to not act holier than thou. In our country we don't blame anyone for all our problems (despite our pols screwing us on a daily basis) ... in Pak they blame India for all their problems. That's the biggest difference.

Without partition, India would be at war with the west as the stronghold of the Taliban.

Those that chose to stay back haven't created havoc, so there is no reason to believe that if everyone had stayed back there would be havoc.
