Mr. Wicket Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 Either Harbhajan or Ojha needs to make way. Hell, I won't complain if both get ejected so we play 3 seamers to give Munaf a try plus Mishra.
saneindian Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 The last time Mishra played vs Sri lanka, his figures read 58-6-203-1!!! Add tot his the thumping he got in the tour game vs SL A and the number of no balls he bowled. Has developed the Agarkaresque ability of bowling a boundary ball every over. Not sure if he would make much of a difference.
Sid Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 Either Harbhajan or Ojha needs to make way. Hell' date=' I won't complain if both get ejected so we play 3 seamers to give Munaf a try plus Mishra.[/quote'] :hysterical::hysterical:,either bhajji or ojha has to make way for mishra, you sound as if mishra is some kind of shane warne and a sure guarantee for our win,for me he is another ordinary spin option we have at the moment,he is too slow in the air and of the pitch to be successful at this level and will be easy meat for sl batsmen,we can play either ojha or mishra both are ordinary spinners who doesnt give you confidence that they can pick bag of wickets to win india matches As for Munaf Patel,I dont think he will be given a chance and here Indian selectors have made yet another blunder by picking all three 'hit the deck seamers' and no swing bowler which is a must in SL condition
Lord Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 Mishra should play instead of Ojha.thats the only change needed
The Dark Horse Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 I dont think Dhoni will do it. Hope he does.
ZodiaC Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 Bhajji for Mishra? You kiddin me?:WTF: Only Ojha should make way for Mishra. And that should be it.
jusarrived Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 Mishra deserves a long run with the test team . Pick him and 3 seamers for the next test
Clarke Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 TBH, it depends on the Wicket, Mr. Wicket. If its not a green top, Mishra might replace Ojha. As for the suggestion of dropping Bhajji for Mishra :haha:
Ranjha Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 The thread is a joke or the person who opened it? or am I a joke for thinking this is a joke? hahahahaha Drop Bhajji? hahahaha...drop the match winner that can win you the match...atleast there is 50-50 chance...drop him and our bowling is not any better than club level without zaheer et al. as well.
Guest Shivani Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 drop bhaj  noway! both ojha and mishra are useless :headshake:
21cent Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 Harbajan should be kept in the team, his experience will come good in this test.
TheWall Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 No Mishra yet :wtf: dont worry, dhoni will include him for the 2nd innings..:hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:
ZodiaC Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 dont worry' date=' dhoni will include him for the 2nd innings..:hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:[/quote'] :giggle: Is Jaddu injured or something? Surprised to see our potential Gary sobbers being not picked for the test side :--D
achilles Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 What a joke bowling attack we have this series. We have ZILCH bench-strength and I hope this series opens the eyes of our selectors.
