Laaloo Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 I was in my physics lab class. I followed it via the classroom PC even though the instructor advised us not to use the Internet. Teacher was a touch late in getting there otherwise I would have been in deep ****. P.S NO POAL :dontknow:

Guest Hiten. Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 RESPECT I was at hooters It must've been tough for you to follow the game on your skates :((
h4te Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 I remember this very distinctly. There were 6 of us in my living room watching it. I took one of the corners of the couch (that's usually where i sit [sat, since i longer live there], but not Sheldon like...). The match was during the afternoon time for me, and we ordered pizza for lunch from Pizza Hut (i know it sucks). We also got wings, which sucks more than the pizza at Pizza hut (what a surprise!). But we didn't care. 4 of the others didn't have anything for the rest of the day, so they started their libation and stash a bit earlier than usual. Me and my friend had a class to attend that conflicted closely with the end of the match, and we had a quiz. So, we didn't consume too much booze. The class was also on the other side of the campus, which meant that we had to walk a long way. This was very tense, we had to go to the class, and we hoped that match would end before we had to leave. This was as tense as the match itself. The other four friends didn't give a hoot, they were drunk and high for the most part, and were lulzing away while my friend and I waited in agony. My friend (the one in the class with me) was also going through relationship problems at that time, and he was getting on my nerves being annoying as phuck. After not-so-good experiences in the semis, we agreed to turn off all our cellphones and put away our laptops so the girls wouldn't call and *****. Getting to the game, we were in two minds about Pathan's inclusion and also opening. He was supposed to be a mad hitter, and we were all hoping he would score 100 off 20, okay we were a bit drunk at that point. I know, I had a quiz, but after I eat the pizza and wings, I will sober up. We were so phucking pissed when he got out, my dumbass friend who was too drunk at that point ****ing punched the person beside him (in his defense, the other guy was laughing his ass off after the wicket. in HIS defense, he was too high). He got a bruise on his chin, and it wasn't pretty the next day. we lulzed about it, though. in any case, getting back to the game, Gambhir was awesome, which put us all in the positive spirit (and also they started moving onto the spirits from beer). In the end, the score was not as high as we had hoped. But we all know how awesome Pak batting is, so we were lulzing. To this day, I don't know what happened during lunch break, I went to my room to study, when I came out, the shirts were off. We agreed in the beginning that all our clothes will be on in the living room at all times (i had the unfortunate experience of living with someone who walked around the apartment in his briefs, the phucker wasn't even wearking boxers. breifs, seriously wtf). In any case, I didn't think too much of it. 4 drunk and high guys with their shirts off, w/e. Pakistan batting. Wickets in the first few overs I think, and boy did we scare our neighbors with the shouting (LOL!). They started to string together some partnerships, and I was getting really really nervous. When Bhajji came on in the end and gave that six, I was ****ing pissed out of my mind. And then we got Joginder Sharma to bowl the last over. My friend and I got pissed and we started to prepare to leave. We were going to lose, so we had to change our mind back to this quiz we had. At this instance, I was standing by the door, he was still in his couch (well, he had his own single-chair recliner). The reverse-scoop: my heart sunk. In reality, the time between the scoop and catch was just a few seconds, but so many thoughts ran through my mind. It seemed like ages went by..........almost cried.....then the catch, OMFGWTFOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG. We rolled around like monkeys, screamed till we got police later that evening for noise-control, ****ing did crazy things that can't even be explained. We could only celebrate for about 10 minutes before we had to leave for the quiz. When we came back for the class, the boyz had been continuing their party and drinking. They were passed out on the floor, one of them in my bathroom. Man that was AWESOME!!!!!

To my utter astonishment Misba fecked up big time, and fortunately the MJ wannabe managed to hold on to the catch!!!!! Needless to say it was drinks on the house and everyone on the floor pissed.
