Nor we had good bowlers ( P.S : By good bowlers i meant Dhoni had Zaka nd Ishant in Top form for most part of his captaincy) Now that Ishant is not that good we can see Dhoni losing few matches. Tactically Sourav is ahead IMO.

No one will agree that Today what Zak is he was the same during Souravs time. It was the County stint that changed him to what he is in..am i wrong? Talking about Srinath, he was the only good fast bowler we had at that time. Poyz are two time finalists, one time winners and one time semi finalists, of the tontee tontee world cup. :cantstop: Does that say anything about their cricketing standards? Dhoni has the privilege of having an experienced batting lineup - with Sehwag, Tendy, Dravid, VVS. Except tendy almost everyone were newbies while Dada was captaining the side. And almost all legendary bowlers like Mcgrath, Warnie, and batsmen like Haydos, Waugh, gilli are retired. Plus we most experienced and classy test lineup in the whole world. Dada captained India when we were home track bullies like Lankans. And then we had the famous victories in Oz, etc. We reached the finals of the world cup that too played in SA. Let's see how well does he perform in SA, Aus, etc in tests over a period of time. It's absurd to make judgments just based on stats. Heck even stats ain't good yet to hail him better than Dada. :fail:

He can lead from the front. Unlike Dada. But tactically he is poor compared to Dhoni..much poor.
