Someone needs to tell this "W@nk-jid Shame-ful Hasan" guy that as a sporting organisation (much like a public/private company), the ICC can suspend players under investigation the same as Universities, Banks, Hospitals etc and other institutions can suspend employees under investigation of corruption etc. This issue of "provisional" suspension is NOT directly tied or dependant to a legal investigation that may result in criminal charges. One is governed by legal requirements and laws, and the other follows a code of conduct! Two completely seperate regulations. You would think a diplomatic representative of a country would understand the finer points of this issue but he's just as dysfunctional and confused about this as corrupt Pakistani politics. All he's done is mumble the same tired old bullsh*t about players who are dopers, druggies, fixers, and ball tamperers being innocent and being fine young men who were setup.

The Pak HC in London has acted like an irresponsible individual of epic proportions. His accusations are ridiculous and laughable.

Entirely Agree sir! That’s what I deeply wish for the people of both sides, please grow up, be mature in posting and sharing the feelings and actually on both sides people should rather try to take lead in posting the sensible stuff, purposeful content with logical and meaningful arguments instead of mud-slinging, abusing and trying to grow up the hate on purpose. Yes we all know we are opponents of each other, we naturally enjoy the failure of others and feel the jealousy on success of others but still we can and actually we should show big heart too and I believe there is no topic even between most rival countries like us for which abusing is so essential and which can't be discussed in respectful manners. At least I am never able to understand when one person either from here or there writes a post with entirely hateful contents full of abuses why he (and also the one who replies in same way) fails to understand that his words are actually first representing his own personality then his country too, so he should just think at least once before posting that how we would like to represent himself and his country.

Yes we all know we are opponents of each other, we naturally enjoy the failure of others and feel the jealousy on success of others No we are not and no we don't. You have to get it out of your system. I am sixty, born two and a half years after partition so the wounds of separation from our home lands (we are refugees who came with just the clothes on our backs) were so fresh and the horror stories so fresh and so real you cant even begin to imagine. Then, I have grown up with the wars; I was a teen ager in 1965 and just out of college in 1971; I should be the bitterest enemy by your criteria - far from it. You may think I am old and have grown out of it. Partly true but not entirely. One has to think for oneself (without the baggage and the conditioning of the pas)t and inspite of the noises around you. That applies to people of all ages. My children have grown up without any bitterness towards Pakistan and I consider it my only real contribution to society in my entire life time. You people owe it to your future generations to get it out of your systems first so that your children are brought up in a straight-thinking environment. About what people do here or elsewhere on the net, please remember that a) they are not all the people who come to the net but it is true that people who are negative tend to write more strong words, do it more persistently and more often. b) Those who are more positive in outlook stay away or maybe write once and then when shouted down by the hot-heads, go away not bothering to get into the mess. Understandable, maybe, but unfortunate. And c) the fact also remains that as a Pakistani the negative you read (and there is a lot of it I bet) stays with you longer and leaves a lasting impact than the positive you must be coming across. We always tend to think that the hot-heads are the ones who constitute the majority on the otherside and the moderates are either just talking without meaning it or are in such an insignificant minority that they do not count. Neither is true but both Indians and Pakistanis think this of each other. There are moderates on both sides but while many of them are silent, quite a few others speak out too. Its those sane voices on the other side that we need to pay heed to and draw our inferences from. You cant take the hot-heads you come across on the inter-net to represent majority of Indians just as you dont want Indians to think of the Pakistani hot-heads to be all the country has to offer or for the world to think that the Paksitanis are all Taliban to take it to another level. Enough damage has been done to our two countries by my father's generation and mine. Its now for our children and grand children to do better than we did and the only way a common man can do it is by starting with himself and then with his family. I am sorry for sounding like a school teacher for that is not the intention. I wrote this much because I feel so sad about what is happening in the two countries and also because I think people like me should never give up hope of better days nor give up trying to do their little bit at every opportunity. I live in UK and I see lot's of people are on doles and are known as 'Chavs'..Living on doles have made them arrogant because they don't value the importance of doing hard work and improve their lives. They will try to pick up fights with decent hardworking neighhbours who are trying to improve their lives and living conditions. All the hard working neighbour want is to let him live and and not be dragged in all sorts of quarrels and issues which are not related to him. Just leave him alone so that he can concentrate on improving his own life.. Now if you come and preach/teach these hard working people to show some respect to a 'Chav' neighbour (who is living on doles, jealous, always plays the victim cards etc.) and have good relationship, I think it's asking for too much. If the 'Chav' neighbour starts working hard, gets off the doles, and tries to improve owns life and starts respecting the neighbours, I'm pretty sure the hardworking neighbours will respect these people and wish to improve ties. So, teaching and preaching is okay, but we need to take ground and practical realities into account..

I would like to comment on the gist of your post i.e "there are only a few bad apples and they are on both sides and hence we should not generalize " .... can you explain how this supposedly teeny weeny bunch of "hot heads" were able to create soo much of destruction ( and this has been going on for about 12 centuries now not just from your fathers generation as you say). And when I say destruction I mean things on the scale of Kashmir, BD , large scale ethnic cleansing of Non-Muslims and such. Now can we see the equivalent destruction caused by the "Hot heads" on our side of the Loc ? Afterall since you have equated the hotheads on both sides there better be some rascals on our side who have come remotely close to a Kashmir or a BD.

The "rascals" on both sides dont have to be equal. The fact is that "rascals" (what a cute word for the type of people we must be meaning) do exist on both sides. I do worry about the "rascals" in pakistan also for the damage they cause - to us and to their own country. But I do not take any pride in "Pakistan has more rascals than us". Just like I do not take pride in the fact that Asif Ameer and Butt are Pakistanis.I worry about the "rascals" on our side and worry about the damage they cause us. . About Kashmir, Bangladesh etc, this is not the forum. Let it be sufficient for me to remind you that by screaming abuses at the other side from your roof tops you do not become more patriotic. You have to ask yourself what you are doing about it. I am not asking you to tell me. It does not interest me. You dont have to ask me either. I am not obliged to get into this debate nor is this the forum for it but please do not carry your patriotism as some kind of a badge of honour for public display. PCB can't do jack about anything. Between most of the bookies reside in one country so this sport won't be clean as long as they are running their illegal business.
