Cricketics Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 After using G1 for almost 2 years, here comes G2. G1 was the first ever phone with Android. Here is something new now which another google phone is bringing. HSPA http://g2.t-mobile.com/

Cricketics Posted September 6, 2010 Author Posted September 6, 2010 Where are you getting your stats from? I am working for Cellairis now. We are manufacturers of all the accessoreis of every phone in every carrier. Evo is in great demand compared to Iphone. not that i am a critic of an anti iphone person. I like Iphone, and havent used Evo myself much.
Rajiv Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 EVO is exclusive to Sprint right, its drawback is no GSM version AFAIK
Cricketics Posted September 6, 2010 Author Posted September 6, 2010 EVO is exclusive to Sprint right' date=' its drawback is no GSM version AFAIK[/quote'] Ya only sprint has Evo.
Rajiv Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 Ordered the Samsung Galaxy S Captivate as HUP, after a dogfight as no stock in any store. Things I would like to know 1) Apart from built in GPS - Any 3rd Party? like Tom Tom for iPhone 2) Skype - I believe there is 3) Can I watch Live Video, as it plays flash so can I watch cricket on those free/paid sites
Cricketics Posted October 27, 2010 Author Posted October 27, 2010 Rajiv, galaxy series is turning out to be very famous here in U.S Galaxy have released there phone sets in all the carriers Sprint calls it SAMSUNG EPIC T-MOBILE calls it Samsung Vbirant Verizon Calls it Samsung Fascinate At&T calls it Samsung Captivate basically all the sets are same, with little diff looks, and similar features introduced in every plan. Great phones. Btw, regarding live streams and stuff, yes like HTC EVO, you can watch easily all live streams, flash etc, including Espn3.com stuff. Android is killing it. Iphone 4 users have a great news though. VLC is available now for apple log. Evo though is still playing a killer role. Top Phone in U.S
Rajiv Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 I dont think we will ever get EVO here as the carriers are like turtles here and 4G has to wait. Droid X2 seems to hype the next killer, also i have a buddy who is Microsoft-Loyalist and says Windows Mobile 7 will be on Top HTC Desire HD also seems to make lotta noise. Actually my cuz bought the captivate in NJ after returning iPhone 4, and he took some pics near Statue of Liberty with wife and kids, I was really impressed and so was he

Telenav GPS for instance comes on the vibrant, i am fine with google maps since its free. 2) Skype comes as an app in the android market although Galaxy S is not 'currently' supported. 3) Not sure about flash 10, Adobe Flash 10.1 is available on Android 2.2 while the Galaxy S comes with Android 2.1. As they say, patience is a virtue.
Sachinism Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 Flash 10.1 can be installed on Android 2.1, I remember I had it even before I got onto Froyo Plenty of GPS apps available Rajiv, can get them all for free as well :winky: I want to get one of the newer HTC phones now because of HTCsense

HTC Desire on 2.2 ApptoSD :adore: Gmote - connect to PC via wifi and play music Touiteur - twitter Sickipedia - jokes WhatsApp - IM Winamp - Music Scrabble - game MiniSquadron - game Kindle Fruit Ninja - game Angry Birds - game Chrome to Phone - sending links to phone from pc instantly 3G Watchdog - checking data usage
