achilles Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/10609407 Oh yes, remember reading this. But I doubt whether this is an informed opinion per se. Or is it more like a "hey, this country is getting better, but lets still talk about its underbelly and undermine it" kinda statistical analysis.
Holysmoke Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 Ruia's are richer than Roman Abramovich :omg: :isalute: Yeah.. hard to believe they were almost bankrupt few years ago... The vodafone deal made them BIG money.
Holysmoke Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 Guys keep in mind that this list is probably only "white" money :hehe:
Clarke Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 Oh yes' date=' remember reading this. But I doubt whether this is an informed opinion per se. Or is it more like a "hey, this country is getting better, but lets still talk about its underbelly and undermine it" kinda statistical analysis.[/quote'] u couldn't be more uninformed. India has the most number of people below poverty (by international standards, not the sarkari Rs. 168 per month) by some distance. The number of people suffering from hunger is 300+ million with 180+ million suffering from chronic hunger. That's huge! There has been some poverty reduction in the last two decades but the road ahead is very very long.
Ram Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 What an ill-informed' date=' stupid user![/quote'] Lol, couldnt simply miss the irony here. :haha:
