vaibhav_delhi Posted September 15, 2010 Author Posted September 15, 2010 not defending pakis here but it takes a genuinely quick delivery to hurry rahul dravid who is one of the more capable batsman in world cricket. in fact i remember a ball delivered by akhtar in sharjah' date=' to dravid, which was then the second fastest delivery ever (96 or 97 mph) and he played it comfortably. so it is not far fetched to assume that delivery by sami clocked 100+ mph.[/quote'] Lol it was the angle and line of the bowl which gives u an illusion tht dravid is hurried. tht is nowhere near 90mph forget 101. Even akhtar/tait have clocked100 once or twice.
Asim Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 Lol it was the angle and line of the bowl which gives u an illusion tht dravid is hurried. tht is nowhere near 90mph forget 101. Even akhtar/tait have clocked100 once or twice. Illusion... if there could be any illusion, it may went against the bowler when a player like Dravid is against you, such player can make the quickest ball look like an average speed ball. Sami bowled at 96+ on many occasions and here Dravid have no clue about the ball, I am not surprised if it was100+... easily...
Serani Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 Indian pace bowling is embarrasing, even mohammad Irfan is quicker than all indian bowlers
ravishingravi Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 Indian pace bowling is embarrasing' date=' even mohammad Irfan is quicker than all indian bowlers[/quote'] Good enough to be ranked No.1 in th world, which is all it takes.
nballa Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 Good enough to be ranked No.1 in th world' date=' which is all it takes.[/quote'] don't waste your gray matter on "serani".
ravishingravi Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 don't waste your gray matter on "serani". Troll alert ?
nballa Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 Troll alert ? i'm afraid he's beyond that point and now teetering on the edge of dementia.
vvvslaxman Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 I am talking abt Test match bowling my gullible friend. SA>Ind>Eng>Aust>SL>WI>Pak>Nz>Bd for me in test match bowling. And If Aamir is playing pak bowling jumps to No.5 If Aamer plays in subcontinent he is going to get whacked around like everybody else.
vvvslaxman Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 Indian pace bowling is embarrasing' date=' even mohammad Irfan is quicker than all indian bowlers[/quote'] Indian pace bowling does well under swinging conditions. Infact better than most of the sides. RP,Zaheer both bowled well in England.
jusarrived Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 Indian pace bowling is embarrasing' date=' even mohammad Irfan is quicker than all indian bowlers[/quote'] Broad , Anderson & Finn are quick ? :haha: even I cud take a few wickets in conditions these guys get to bowl

Serani Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 Broad , Anderson & Finn are quick ? :haha: even I cud take a few wickets in conditions these guys get to bowl Broad is quick, 90MPH very regularly
Raghav_12 Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 Pakistani fast bowlng was made to look better than they actually are because of weather and pitch conditions they played in this summer. However to say that Indian fast bowling is as good as Pak's fast bowling would be a bit funny.
yoda Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 Crappy bowling, aging bats, yet we are #1 in the world. Speaks volumes about the quality of the rest.
kooljatt Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 :nervous:Broad is quick' date=' 90MPH very regularly[/quote'] [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UiDTSw1mbzc]YouTube - Yuvaraj singh t20 sixers[/ame]
Serani Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 What exactly is the point of showing that video? We have all seen Brett Lee being demolished by Gayle in lick it cricket, hes still rapid. and Broad will have a better career than fatty Yuvraj
thongale Posted September 16, 2010 Posted September 16, 2010 You know nothing my friend. I am commenting after seeing their perf in Eng And Aust test series. Mohd Asif is incapable of bowling a bouncer mate these days mate. their pace bowlers are crap bar aamerThat is because he don't want to ball a bouncer to get batsmen out. He's better than any Indian bowler when it comes to testing batsmen on their front foot' date=' [b']which is the stronger ability of sub continental batsmen.
thongale Posted September 16, 2010 Posted September 16, 2010 :haha: lol at ur intellect my ignorant friend. Tht was an error . Even Sami was embarassed when he saw that. Ishant touched 155kph+ in Aust as a 19yo kid , tht was genuine pace and bounce. there r numerous others in india . But Speed is not tht important.LMAO. Ishant NEVER bowled at 155k. Fastest he bowled was 152k, that also with the white ball. Gilchrist dragged it on to his stumps and it was in last VB series. I like to see the delivery that Ishant clocked 155k+. ATM there's only one few guys in SC that can hit 150k. And none of them are Indians. Majority of them are Pakistanis, remaining one or two are Sri Lankan.
thongale Posted September 16, 2010 Posted September 16, 2010 Any half-decent non-spinner could ball faster than ur most successful bowler Asif . He was hovering between 75-80mph in england all the time. Batters standing 2 feet outside the crease, the guy cudnt bowl a bouncer. Not to mention pacey reverse swinging yorkers. Get off of nakli pride mate.Only problem in that argument is that Asif is 2nd in the ICC ranking while Zaheer is at 7th or 8th, as well as Asif averages about 30% less per wicket than Zaheer. Get down from your nationalistic high horse mate. Asif is better than any Indian bowler of recent past. Only Kapil at his best would have given a run to him.
thongale Posted September 16, 2010 Posted September 16, 2010 Good enough to be ranked No.1 in th world' date=' which is all it takes.[/quote']And that conclusively tells that Asif > Zaheer, because Asif is ranked higher:--D
