ravishingravi Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 "cricket ball" http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/cricket/article-1314414/Shoaib-Akhtar-caught-camera-ball-tampering-row-sours-Englands-win.html
ZodiaC Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 LOL tell me something new. Broad & Andy got away with more blatant tampering. Unless its retarded as ball biting, they are most likely to get away with it. And poyz themselves have been doing this since ages. So nothing new.
achilles Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 Daily Mail - Its not tampering when Stuart Broad and James Anderson do it :hitler:
Sachinism Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 ICC need to clear up the rules regarding ball tampering. Either allow it on stamp down on any incidents.
ravishingravi Posted September 23, 2010 Author Posted September 23, 2010 ICC need to clear up the rules regarding ball tampering. Either allow it on stamp down on any incidents. I say allow it. Carry the entire kit with you bottle cork, vaseline lotion etc. Anything to get it swinging and make it more balanced.
DomainK Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 I say allow it. Carry the entire kit with you bottle cork' date=' vaseline lotion etc. Anything to get it swinging and make it more balanced.[/quote'] And to what extent will you allow tampering?
Gunner_Mania Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 The enlarged photo is definitely not the same as the wide angled on, they are two diferent photos.
ravishingravi Posted September 23, 2010 Author Posted September 23, 2010 And to what extent will you allow tampering? I honestly don't know, but every side does it. Some are stupid enough to get caught biting it
DomainK Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 I honestly don't know' date=' but every side does it. Some are stupid enough to get caught biting it[/quote'] I am not sure how many do it, but even if we assume that many do it, it's no reason to make it legal. Many people give and take bribes in India, should we make it legal? Girl infanticide is common in many parts of India, why not legalize that as well? Kidnappings are getting very frequent in UP, eve teasing is an everyday matter in most parts of India, domestic violence is very common, college ragging, copyright violence, police atrocities, drug addiction....they are all not just quite common but some of them are on the rise. So legalize them all? Besides, allow Pakistan to tamper with the ball and they wont come with bottle caps anymore. They will come with hammers, nails and glue etc. They will saw the balls in half and bowl. They use bottle caps now because they want to be discreet. Just because many want to cheat, cheating cant be allowed.
EnterTheVoid Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 The enlarged photo is definitely not the same as the wide angled on, they are two diferent photos. LOL :hysterical:

Sachinism Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 But it shows movement, as in he was scratching the ball (if the image has not been PS'd)

My point was that with the wickets flattening out esp. in India and most of the rules in favour of the batsmen with bigger and better bats now, I think something needs to be done to restore the balance.
mastana Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 I say allow it. Carry the entire kit with you bottle cork' date= vaseline lotion etc. Anything to get it swinging and make it more balanced. Rather than allowing spot fixing, ball tampering, ball biting, cheating, beating players with the bat, dancing on the pitch, offering flying kisses to opposition players and making ugly faces how about if we ban Pakistan from cricket for god's sake?
asterix Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 I think cheating is HARAM in Islam. ICC should seriously contemplate taking on board few eminent Islamic scholars and ask them to issue FATWAS on Pak players, whenever they are caught cheating..All these fines and bans are not going to have any impact on these players. A proper FATWA should do the work..:winky:
Asim Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 Hahahaha, even a child can judge, this is cheating... but not by Shoaib, rather by your Gora bosses... This time they were in such a hurry or may be in some panic to prove cheating that in one image they put the ball outside of hand instead of inside :hysterical: unbelivable... :hysterical: Also on left side image, how the hell Shoaib can hold the ball without even gripping it, look at position of four fingures there, try to hold the ball this way :--D

asterix Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 It can be done, Asim. They'll not resort tp photoshopping to blame Shoiab. This is how it happened. Shoiab tried to 'work' on the ball and hold it in a way that the ball slips from his hand and then once it's on the ground, he'll step on it (innocently). So the right image is actually the ball being 'dropped'. Have you not see the other photos in which he 'stepped' on the ball (to complete the scruffing), once it slips out of his hand? There it is:
gaurav92 Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 As said earlier by someone, nothing new.
