This thread is such a joke. Hussey got an awful decision that was never out and then Gambhir got one as well. Why is it every time India are in a bad position some fans start crying about umps?
he got awful decision but he was Plumb earlier but was not given so was Katich, they were so many LBWs which were not given. Have you ever saw anyone who is out then checked by umpire for a no ball, I dont remember that happening before. Billy Bowden is the culprit, if you follow his career, he never gives LBW easily but always gives some shocking howlers. But checking for No-ball after batsman is out I have never seen that. Indians got rough end in this match due their spinners but they deserve it , they did not go for UDRS.But that cannot excuse Billy for his total incompetence.

Gambhir's wicket and the Sharma vs Hussey no-ball are an absolute joke. I'm not gonna say cheating as we've seen incompetent umpiring on numerous occasions but seriously WTF was Billy doing during the Sharma no-ball

Still remember, one of the poorest decisions. The inside edge was so obvious to everyone except Billy Bowden.

As well as all the above, what about Bhajjis 2/3 plump LBW's etc??? Yet again the Aussies are being favoured, id rather believe this than fact tht someone can be so imcompetent. Ghambhirs decision was disgraceful!

Emotional investment and bias is pretty evident here. Hussey and North both had dubious decisions, so Aussies on ICF should make a thread about that and balance the equation. Calling a umpire biased and victim mentality is cliched rhetoric. BCCI did not have the common sense of using UDRS...now suck it up!

Turn it up mate, I've watched Australia a lot over the years and I can tell you right now that is not the case. I remember last Ashes series, Rudi Kirsten ripped us off so many times.

Sir, some Indians whine a lot about umpiring. That's my general observation and and I am just saying it as it is. There is no need to bring the past in the context of the current match. Let bygones be bygones. :dontknow:

No Sir. These decisions ( all in favor of Aus) have decided fate of matches in the past. And they continue to occur. You can't just keep allowing teams to get shafted by umpires who almost make the other team suffer ..almost surreptitiously.

Common guys stop crying we r going to win this match. Even we get decisions in our Favour remember Series win against Eng in England

Hear, hear! People moaning about that Ishant no-ball that wasn't, that ball pitched outside leg stump. So it could not have been given out LBW. And guys the new rules indicate that an umpire may go upstairs to adjudicate a line no-ball. Billy just happened to be the first umpire to make use of that law. There were a couple of shockers today. One from Gould when he gave Hussey out LBW and one from Bowden when he gave Gambhir out. Apart from that, I think both of them did a fairly decent job.

^No sir they did not. Gould gave tendulkar LBW, bold decision there, and forgot to gave Katich plumb in front, so was hussey. Thats fine, umpires can make mistake. I accepted those. But when I saw Gambhir's dismissal, lets even say Bowden missed the inside edge, the bowl was no way going to hit the stumps. It was just terrible terrible decision on all counts.

Yes. Gambhir's was a terrible decision indeed. No doubt about that.

Great decision there by Billy Bowden against Ojha' date=' of course all the bad decisions go against india[/quote'] That decision would have been irrelevant had that douche Gould given the correct decision against Sharma

The point isn't that umpires make mistakes. They make mistakes almost all the time over 5 days, with hundreds of overs being bowled and 40 odd batsmen at the crease. The POINT IS why whine and complain about decisions when they go against you? SRT is routinely known as one of the most classy players in the world partly because he doesn't cry foul and get into theatrics when he's incorrectly given out. Let's all show the same class and dignity.
