Both are good players flamy, Mukund is a left hand opener and has been in good form, Rahane a makeshift opener. Hence AM was a like for like replacement for Gambo. Eventually I expect both to make it to the Ind squad.

mukund deserves a place in the squad. the guy is in good form, scored lots of runs on 'a' tour of england and australia and he has a habit of converting starts into huge scores. i think he might be better than vijay. rahane is a better player, but i have no problem with mukund being selected. zonal bias no longer exists in indian cricket, its all about merit now
