"This match is at a critical stage and it is all about how we handle pressure on the last day," Tendulkar told reporters after the fourth day's play at the Chinnaswamy stadium in Bangalore. Tendulkar said it was important to end Australia's innings early because any target would be tough on the wearing fifth day pitch. "The wicket has slowed down and the cracks have widened," he said. "It will not be an easy track to bat on tomorrow." :nervous:
Oh.......faaaaackkk! :nervous: Not that I'm the most optimistic guy when India are chasing anyways, but when God himself says the wicket is becoming tough to bat on...:((

Batting Order for the 4th Inn: Pujara at #3 ? We cant have Pujara batting lower down, he does not have the experience to absorb pressure with 4 or 5 wickets down on day-5 and navigate the tailenders. Pujara is too inexperienced for this Day-5 nailbiter! Switch positions of Dravid and Pujara? Dravid is not in good form, but he can at least have experience of having handled pressure, and having more familiarity with tailenders if it comes to that. I wonder if Dhoni will do it, or just stick-to-his-routine. :punter: is sniffing at Win in Test in India in his last tour! :((

all you guys are forgetting or atleast no one posted here, a couple important things. they are: micheal clarke - everyone talks about hauritz not being effective. but threat is there in pup and may be even north and the second ost imp thing is the pair of jokers that are standing in this game in the name of umpires. i can bet there are going to be 2 or 3 decisions going against us. so basically we have 7 wickets with which we need to reach the target to summarize, the challenges agaist india winning this test are: 1. aussie tail wagging and scoring another 40-60 runs 2. uneven bounce and ball keeping low. expect low lbws and even bowleds 3. sehwag's dubious 2nd innings record 4. 3 inexperienced batsmen - but rest assured they will try hard 5. dravid's indifferent form and poor record in blore 6. THE UMPIRES and their shocking DECISIONS. I hope BCCI will learn its lesson tomorrow and bring on the UDRS in all future series 7. Micheal Clarke's spin 8. Absence of Gambo, VVs and Ishant on the positive side 1. Sachin, Vijay, Sehwag in good form. 2. Only about 70 overs to negotiate

Dravid has built up great reputation as wall and man for pressure but he has not delivered in India ever, his fourth innings avg is 32 with two fifties. If he bats at no3 and fails again it will put so much pressure on Sachin again, may be it is better off to let him bat no5 and ask Pujara to bat no 3.It wont happen though.

It is an interesting idea, but on the flip side we can easily be down 2 wickets in no time with Pujara coming in at #3, which ofc is like with Dravid also these days. :((
