You are mistaking Your 'Opinion' for 'Fact' My dear friend. Fact is everyother player who have made more runs than him all over the World and in General Ranks ahead of the FTB (As Yet). Am not sure how many will even agree with your Opinion on ICF of him being our Greatest ever or 2nd Greatest ever ODI batsman. There are many players who has 9000, 8000, 6000, 5000 runs more than him and they have scored all over the world .

@andy sach failed in his only WC final - so what India won their only WC in sach's 21 year career under dhoni, in which incidently sach didnt even play - so what dhoni failed in 1 WC match against bermuda where india'd scored a million- so fking what The fact tht dhoni has been inducted in india's all time XI, named ICC odi player last time, ICC test captain this time and led india to Rank 1 first time in sach's 21 yr career counts for nothing to you, right? Given how well dhoni has performed multiple roles, given sach doesn even play majority ODIs these days and the replacements available, only a one-eyed worshipper wud say tht today, sach is more indispensable than dhoni in odis. So ICC tournaments arre not Special over Regular Bilateral series or Tri Series? Well thats news to me, all who wants India to win the World Cup must be fools then. Talking about How many ICC Tournaments we have won before IIRC we have won two. And its not just about wining ICC Tournaments. Its about the performance you put in. Sri Lanka has perfomed quite well than us in Last 4 World Cups. 3-4 Years back despite New Zealand's poor performance in genral Series they were a respected side and taken seriously for their very consistent performance in WCs. If you read ICF regularly and hear Indian Cricket Fans talking on the game you'll know how much people wants Team India to do well in big ICC tournaments. Despite our tremendous failure in 2007 Wc when we won the 20-20 WC which by no means comparable to the 50 over version, still the whole nation was relieved because it was an WC. May be for you ICC knock Out Tournaments donnt hold much Importamnce but for most of the Cricket fans it holds much importance over Series wins in Australia and Soth Africa. Leave alone Meaning less Tri Series we play with Sri Lankans.:giggle: Now to about Scoring Runs against all sides in the World, Yes he did, But much has been at Home and in Subcontinental Conditions. But This conditions doesnt matter when we play ICC tournaments, even if he can score those Runs at Home when ICC tournaments are Held at Home It will be of Huge Importance, But pity he goes missing in those tournaments. There have been many players in the past who scores day in and Day out in General Bilateral Series and Tri Series like Many South Africans. But how many of them are called Great ODI batsman? Simply because most of them Go Missing in ICC tournaments. Good players score in Genral ODI series, Great Players score and Perform in World Cups and Champions Trophies. I know he doesnt bat at the top order and his job is to finish Matches. But then again, How many times has he finished matches for us in recent past. He did quite a lot in the past, Not many now. And why does he go missing in Big matches?
