ravishingravi Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 Virat Kohli Murali Vijay Rohit Sharma Cheteshwar Pujara None of them ( Someone else ) Player who has the technique and temperament to fill Dravid's shoes after he leaves the scene.
achilles Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 Che Pujara... 1st choice. Virat Kohli... 2nd choice. Vijay and Rohit aren't ideal for the #3 spot.
akshayxyz Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 Rohit had good chance earlier. but now Pujara or Kohli or Ishant Sharma.
Nirvanam Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 Virat Kohli Murali Vijay Rohit Sharma Cheteshwar Pujara None of them ( Someone else ) Player who has the technique and temperament to fill Dravid's shoes after he leaves the scene.Chetty looks the part. However, for the short term Lax should take over the number 3 position. Rohit Sharma needs to spend at least 2 good seasons at the domestic level...it looks like he hasn't given due respect to the India cap and has taken it very lightly...he needs to fight for it like Chetty and Vijay have done...only then will he be deserving and also do justice to it. Virat is a good prospect no doubt. Whatever happened to Manoj Tiwary?
Nirvanam Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 Rohit had good chance earlier. but now Pujara or Kohli or Ishant Sharma.:haha: yep Ishant should give up bowling and turn to batting now
vamos_rafa Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 :haha: yep Ishant should give up bowling and turn to batting now Another Irfan in the making ... B->
rkt.india Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 Another Irfan in the making ... B-> Na Jason Gillespi Junior:haha:
vvvslaxman Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 Hrishikesh Kanitkar. Almost same age. Perfect replacement.
thevortex Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 Pujara and Badrinath are the only two people who can hope to do a Dravid-like role.
spectre Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 No one can replace him To play at No.3 position after he retires would be imo, Murali Vijay if Sehwag and Gambhir pair keeps going strong or Gambhir, if Sehwag and Vijay continue their partnership dominance. or None of these two, if Sehwag decided to play in the MO, once the Fab's leave the game
vaibhav_delhi Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 Pujara and Badrinath are the only two people who can hope to do a Dravid-like role. i hope they dont forget Badrinath , solid player
akshaywekhande Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 Ajinkya rahane,he has more similar style to rickey ponting than rahul dravid.
gaurav92 Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 Dravid himself with a better run and form.Apart from him, no one can replace him.
