DK was our most promising wicketkeeper bat, but somehow he didn't make it count. Uday kaul looks promising but too early to judge IMO. Saha is a good option too, he's good behind the stumps and can bat reasonably well.

Dhoni should be givenm a break , his batting performance has dipped alarmingly. Parthiv Patel should be given another chance

Lokesh Rahul who was the U19 keeper in the last WC- supposed to be a pretty promising kid, good batter too... I hear Dravid is a fan...though he is a bit young for this discussion Yes, bit surprising that Kaul has not played yet for Ind A, he has started this season in good form too- good knock of 90-odd vs a strong Karnataka attack yesterday. Matter of time for sure from what I read/hear.

He made his Ranji debut this season as an opener, got a 60 in the 2nd dig against Punjab chasing 140-odd. He was not the keeper CM Gautam still is.

Wrid Saha 178* (albeit against Assam), neverthless showed once again that he has the ability to bat for long periods.

Saha looked very solid against Best Fast bowlers when he played his First test against Saffers and Scored a Gritty 40 odd. Where most of the batters failed.
