Predictions for the India tour of SA

India actually relishes playing tougher opponents and plays casually against relatively weak opponents.So i guess they wont win it but surely can bring it down to 1-1. Well since the Saffers are playing on their home turf, they will hold the advantage, but our bowlers have it in them, what it takes to win a Test overseas.We have done well on green tracks too, so i hope we play our best Cricket as we did against the Aus, and hope the result go our way.

I expect India to do better. Out biggest weakness is bowling and I am sure that our bowlers will do well in the helpful conditions in SA. Our batting is tough enough to handle whatever SA has to offer. If SA manages not to win this test with Pakistan, we can even sledge them to shame.

Yeah, we saw them practice against Pakistan today.

My money is on India. This is possibly the last tour for our senior batsmen and Indian team is much stronger than what it was last time around.

I don't think we'll lose that badly. Centurion, where the first test is, lately has become more of a batting track. I remember watching the England/SA test there and was struck by how little swing/seam there was. Mostly it was the fast bowlers that really stuck to a great offstump line that got the rewards. I think Zaheer and Ishant will do well there as long as Ishant can just find his radar early because the pace and bounce will really suit his bowling. I think the decision for the 3rd fast bowler should come down to whoever does better in the warmup matches.

We need our 3rd pacer to do well in SA. Our newball Bowlers have always done better than expected in SA. Srinath and Prasad were outstanding during the 96-97 tour but Jhonson and Ganesh bowled crap, Sreesanth and Zak had a very good tour in 2006-07 but VRV Singh coming in as first change could not sustain the pressure, Hopefully in Zak, Sree and Ishant, we finally have 3 seamers who can all do well as a unit and help us win a series in SA.

What tracks will saffies produce? Last time we toured there they produced tracks with trees growing out of them but when england last toured there they produced roads. I think they will be roads with pace on them but batsman friendly. They will be chairman pitches, as in designed for chairman so they go to 5th day and they get full money(terms of tickets and tv revenue). We will score buckets of runs. If we pile on the runs we can beat anyone, anywere. India to win the series.
