Zap_Brannigan Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 What a week for cricket...Teams ranked 1,2 and 3 are playing teams ranked 6,7 and 8,coincidentally the top 3 Vs the bottom 3 (BD excluded of course) and in all the matches top 3 teams could not force a win(assuming SL does not win against WI).. And in a few days, #4 will take on #5...Looks like the quarterfinals of the World cup..Might as well make a test championship out of this co-incidence..
CSK Fan Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 And coincidentally, all matches are pretty evenly contested and not one sided.

kabira Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 yes it has been unlikely...Did not expect Newzealand to fight like they have. Expectd Pakis to lose the game and definately expected Windies to fold against Lankans.
Ram Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 NZ competing with India and Pakistan with South Africa (to an extent) is not really a surprise. But the Windies putting up a fight in Lanka of all places? That was totally unexpected and a very pleasant surprise.
thongale Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 And under dogs raping the top sides, and top batsmen failing to score. SRT, Sehwag, Chanders all failed to score big and might happen the same with Sanga and Jaya. But I am quite sure that one of the unknown names would pop up and score a century like Harbhajan. Very very odd type of games going on.
vaibhav_delhi Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Every dog has its day :cantstop: and yesterday was pakistan's day.lol

saneindian Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Every time Sehwag bats, lankan fans expect him to get a 200, they have got used to that now!! No wonder Thongale says Sehwag hasn't made big scores :--D

But against NZ, and on Indian wickets, should be able to do it. I won't be surprised of he doesn't make much against AUS and ENG as well. But Kiwi bowling is so awful. It's help yourselves attack.
