Rajiv Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 Fair Enough? Has Bhajji ever been MOS for a Test Series?
Sid Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 Fair Enough? Has Bhajji ever been MOS for a Test Series? 2001 epic series comes to mind
saneindian Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 Bhajji has got 3 MOS awards so far. 2001 series vs Australia 2002 WI series in India, 20 wickets in 3 tests 2008 SA series in India, 19 wickets in 3 tests 6 MoM awards for Bhajji as well.
ZodiaC Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 Obviously! Bhajji undoubtedly is the man of the series, what a playa:isalute:
ZodiaC Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 Dravid - MOM Ryder - MOS for me Ryder has been very good, but Bhajji deserves it, saved our ass twice. And did alright with ball too.
Lord Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 Dravid - MOM Ryder - MOS for me
serious?on what basis?
saneindian Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 300+ runs and 10+ wickets in a test series. Besides Bhajji, only three players have achieved this in the history of the game, Sobers, Mushtaq Mohammed and Chris Cairns.
ZodiaC Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 Raina averages 19.40 with the ball in the series, our second best bowler :omg:
Lord Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 300+ runs and 10+ wickets in a test series. Besides Bhajji, only three players have achieved this in the history of the game, Sobers, Mushtaq Mohammed and Chris Cairns. I thought I heard commies say that Ravi Shastri,Kapil Dev n Vinoo Mankad have all done this
urbestfriend Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 Dravid - MOM Ryder - MOS for me
serious?on what basis? Because he is the reason why Kiwis are getting thrashed by 1-0, not by 3-0
Lord Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 Because he is the reason why Kiwis are getting thrashed by 1-0, not by 3-0 hes not even the Kiwi top scorer its McCullum who saved the 2nd test.
jusarrived Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 the MOM should go to ab bowler in this match
Sid Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 Both men get their awards as expected :two_thumbs_up:
Rahul48 Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 Bhajji getting MOS is expected.2 vital innings, one of them saved India from a humiliating defeat.Today he contributed to this win with 3 important wickets. However I think Ojha has done better than Bhajji with ball of late.
ludhianvi Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 Btw, superselector agrees :two_thumbs_up: 300+ runs and 10+ wickets in a test series. Besides Bhajji, only three players have achieved this in the history of the game, Sobers, Mushtaq Mohammed and Chris Cairns. I thought I heard commies say that Ravi Shastri' date='Kapil Dev n Vinoo Mankad have all done this[/quote'] yeah, they've done it too but they did it in 4 or 5 match series. Harbhajan is the only Indian to score both >=300 runs and >=10 wickets in a '3 match' series. Apart from Harbhajan, only Sobers, Cairns, and Mushtaq Mohammad have done this in a 3 match series.
