Need tips on Which areas to avoid Hotel recommendations... are the normal holiday inns etc are located in safe areas or is it better to spend up for a big hotel. Should i hire a car or use the public transport... is it safe. Must see sights... keep in mind I plan on attending all 5 days of the first test... flying out on day 5 pm. I am traveling solo... Normally I am not too fussed about where I stay, planning etc prefer to make it up as I go. But with Jo'burg I've heard so many bad things... I am not sure what to expect.

SA series starts on December 16th if I remember correctly You can catch the Brisbane and Adelaide (3 - 7) tests before you go; If you will be going to the Adelaide test, get in touch.
