Ugly - Srikanth, Miandad, Salim Malik, Ranatunga, Aravinda (between deliveries, the way he used to keep that bat on his shoulder like a gadha used to be a horrible site for me)

I don't agree with Aravinda and Kris Srikkanth on the list.Both were breathtaking when in full flow

Shane Watson is also pretty ugly, just a front foot biffer in my eyes, not elegance.

wow..that an exhaustive list Cant disagree much apart from Gambhir....I find his a classy bat, enjoy his batting. but I guess its hard not to compare him with his opening partner. One Viru Sehwag.

When you have Sehwag as your opening partner...followed by RD,SRT,VVS you always tend to look pretty ordinary but what I meant was Gautam is more of a hardworking player than a free flowing player with natural flair.I would rate him miles ahead of someone like Rohit,Yuvi and Raina but their batting style is more attractive to watch than Gautam's.He comes across as more of a Gary Kirsten like player- Hardworking and consistent but not quiet the showman.

Dilshan is not ugly , agreed hes bit of a wanabe Shewag ...may not be the same talent , but he still falls in to the category of 'hand eye coordination' type batsmen ...very few of them , even fewer who are successful with such technique . I would say , hes as ugly as Shewag .

Mahanama used to do that IIRC. Called superstitions BTW. Some times annoying as well.
