I think Dhoni plays bouncers very well..YP is improving as he had shown in the first game against Kiwis..he hit a huge six on Mackay who was bowling in 140s in that spell...

welcome.I cant remember the last time we had consistent death bowlers so this performance is nothing new.Teams with good lower order hitters can really hurt us.

Dhoni is one of the best exponents of pull or hook shot in our team,other than that I agree with the list

well he has shown the sign of improvement but the thing is he will be facing bowlers capable of notching 150+ and in taits case 160+ k,anyway we have to see how he perform against proteas in africa only then we can come to any conclusion and don't forget this wc is starting in early feb so there will be something for seamers as winter phase will be near its end.

The OP is certainly right with the opinion that the quality if death bowling for us is terrible. Zak was the lone saviour for us in that count but then he has remodeled his action so in a way his yorkers are hampered. Nehra is a pretty decent bet. I know some people are making a mockery of him here but he's the only one who can bowl decent yorkers with some degree of accuracy. I think Pakistan is one team which is really good in terms of their death bowling options. Umar Gul is a fine fine exponent if bowling at the death and even Razzaq with all his experience. Rest I don;t know who else would be playing. Maybe Wasim might be called back as well. You never know with them. And yes SL to an extent with Malinga. But generally other teams would be struggling.
