Laaloo Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 Thats precisely the reason I will not have nehra in the 11' date='as he is nothing special and different from our other seamers,he bowls the same rubbish like our other seamer in PP overs,so I will rather play 2 seamers who can contribute with bat as well like PK and Zak unlike nehra and Like to see a 2 pace,2 spin combo[/quote'] I get your point, but PK has an average of 61.50 in India the past 2 years and only picked up 8 wickets in 11 matches.
Sid Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 I get your point' date=' but PK has an average of 61.50 in India the past 2 years and only picked up 8 wickets in 11 matches.[/quote'] But still Pk invariably gives an early breakthrough and hasnt biowled that badly as that average suggests, though will like to see that average improving, that is pathetic
Sachin=GOD Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 I'd still like Nehra over PK because when they are bad, then both are equally bad but when they have one of their better days then Nehra is far better than PK.

The only thing he knows is bowling slower balls which invariably drops short. Then its like MArk Waugh bowling a short pitch delivery.

vamos_rafa Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 Sorry but Nehra is equally pathetic' date='its not that he bowls continous yorkers and makes us go wow what a death bowler he is[/quote'] Nehra IS pathetic but better than PK for sure. Dude we dont have many options and are looking for horses for courses. And given a choice b/w Nehra and PK in Indian conditions then Nehra is a better bet IMO

rkt.india Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 But still Pk invariably gives an early breakthrough and hasnt biowled that badly as that average suggests' date='though will like to see that average improving, that is pathetic[/quote'] PK does not get early breakthrough in india..because the ball does not swing or move much...he is useless in India..He is good on pitches like in Australia which are hard, in SA where he can seam and swing, and England with his swing and New Zealand with soft pitches or on a pitch like it was in Dambula...not on indian pattas
