jf1gp_1 Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 Arrey bhai' date=' tum ney toh neutral mein daal diya gaadi ko...forward gear mein dalo yaar :winky:[/quote'] how do you expect a bowling attack lead by Sreesanth with 4th bowler a rookie to win a test series in SA against smith, amla, kallis, ABDV . Add to that prince, boucher and petersen (who scored a 100 on debut against us) SA has a pretty solid batting line up. Having said all that, this is a positive thread and i like every other fan hope we win this series.

We should prolly take inspiration from that :isalute: And since his debut peterson hasn't scored a ton yet :giggle:
Jadoo Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 Definately the most exciting series for a long time. I've been copping a lot of jib from my finance director who is a saffer, his been giving it large a bit like the south african coach. Though I'm sure come 16th December and onwards he ain't going to have a word to say, and boy is he going to have to cop a tsunami of insults from me.
Nova Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 :cheerleader: Danda....if we win, I want you to cut off your privates and shove it where the sun don't shine. :yay:
King Tendulkar Posted December 14, 2010 Author Posted December 14, 2010 I just can't wait. Only 2 days to go:yay: So nervous and excited. This is just massive, so massive.
hatja_tau Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 I think the dark horse for India would be: Ishant Sharma - Not many are ready to give him a shot. But to me, he seems like the bowler best suited to exploit the conditions in SA, and a perfect counter-match for the SA bowling prowess. He's got the bounce, and he's got the seam movement as well. I think he'll surprise a lot of people on this tour.
The Dark Horse Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 And this series will be more competitive and intriguing than the overhyped ashes:finger:
King Tendulkar Posted December 15, 2010 Author Posted December 15, 2010 Its tommorow. I am nervous:nervous:

I have a feeling dsr wont be bumping up any of his threads in this series Finey, stop being fecking pessimistic and negative!!!!! Only the first test, we're sh*t starters like we have always been, we will bounce back.
fineleg Posted December 17, 2010 Posted December 17, 2010 Only the first test, we're sh*t starters like we have always been, we will bounce back. That can apply to batting. What about our bowlers wasting opportunities on a good pitch. They were crying that pitches in India are not good, here is a good or decent (if not good) pitch for medium pacers - what are they doing???

Agree on you point there, everyone knows our bowling is not the best in the world. But at the same time we also know that our success is grossly dependant on our batsman firing, and I doubt very much that they will be faced with the same kind of conditions they encountered in the 1st innings. Though I would give our bowlers a little more credit, they have delievered more often than not in the patta tracks in the sub-continent (count be no1 side right now if they were totally sh*t), with 2 more tests left I'm sure they will come good in more helpful conditions. Zak will be back in the next test which will be a massive boost as well, and once our batsman have runs on the board I'm sure the equation will change in our favour.
