jf1gp_1 Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 BB is right. People vote them to power and they think people actually like this, so they have made it their policy. It is a joke that the Congress has made RSS the top security problem in the country when we have a sworn enemy and it's child outfits ready to strike anytime anywhere. Even during the Congress Plenary meeting recently, RSS was made an important issue. They are doing it because in their mind doing so will make a clear distinction between them and the BJP there by making BJP a party which supports terrorism and hence unfit to get elected. the way i see it these are two independent things 1) congress stand against RSS on which i agree with you 2) is rahuls comment that pak sponsor terror will one fine day result in a divide in this country resulting in internal conflict which is a bigger threat to integrity of this country that pak terror in itself - there i agree with Rahul look at how most educate hindu on this very board are reacting. I am no exception i think i have expressed my views plenty of time on other threads .
jf1gp_1 Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 Did any non-reaction and bending over backwards make any difference to the situation ? How did that policy work out in Mopla' date=' 1947, Kashmir , Godhra etc etc etc ? Can you explain how most BD Muslim are now harping on common muslim brotherhood with Pakis and see India as a bully ( which also happens to be land of kaffirs) despite what happened in 71 ?[/quote'] I dont care abt pakis or BDs ; but what about Zaheer Khan ?
dial_100 Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 As I said on other thread that BJP has screwed it up all. I cann't believe that such a mindless comment comes because bunch stupid people decided to react to terrorism by their own way. Maligned the entire image of BJP and BJP did not do enough to get out of it. Back in 1920s, the purpose of RSS was very focus but now they are not serving us in anyway except giving Congress opportunity to single out the biggest opposition in the name of secularism. BJP, BD and RSS should come together and dismantle the later two and BJP should tone down a bit. Bring in new younger breed. That aint happening. So until then Congress will continue to be absurd and foolish ruling us another 50 years. I cant believe after 65 years of freedom and we are left with Congress as the only leading party and bunch of regional parties who cannot contribute in any possitive way but be an opportunist and greedy and an ineffective BJP in the opposition.
jf1gp_1 Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 Yeah but they were all "Indians" once upon a time not so long ago .... no ? And Bapu would admonsh us just like you are doing now using Zack as an example and assuming that everyone on them is like Zack. So why exactly do we have soo many problems (only with them ) if they are all like Zack ? unfortunately i agree with you , not all are zaheer and thus we are where we are ; how did we get into this mess ? is there even a solution ? yesterday i was reading about some petty criminal in newspaper at 34 he had 4 wives and 28 kids
saneindian Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 The very fact that a large proportion of muslims have voted for the BJP in Bihar and even voted for Modi in Gujrat local elections has got the Congress worried. Add to it the fact that it was reelign under the 2g and CWG scm onslaught and does not quite how to wriggle out of this. No wonder they have gone back to their tried and tested formula of attacking the RSS to deflect the attention from the main issues. See how the media has suddenly switched to terrorism and corruption and price rise has taken a back seat.
Ram Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 Fake controversy, phony outrage… Whats new? :hysterical:
hari504504 Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 BD Muslim are now harping on common muslim brotherhood with Pakis and see India as a bully ( which also happens to be land of kaffirs) despite what happened in 71 ? Not quite..depends on which party is in power..the current one is extremely pro-India... but then there are always factions within the country with radical ideas..
ravishingravi Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 Not quite..depends on which party is in power..the current one is extremely pro-India... but then there are always factions within the country with radical ideas.. But the fact that there are pro-Pakistani factions in a country which was "raped" by the said country, tells you a lot about how radical ideas will overlook history.
hari504504 Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 But the fact that there are pro-Pakistani factions in a country which was "raped" by the said country' date=' tells you a lot about how radical ideas will overlook history.[/quote'] Islam is too strong a common ground to be ignored..unless they are Shias and Sunnis ofcourse..
pensionplan Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 well the reason he is saying these things boldly ( BTW Mata Rome has stepped in to support Beta Rome ) is because they know there are enough stupid people who will buy this. India produces such people by the millions and this is why the harami kangress has been able to rule and completely destroy the country for over 50 yrs. He wouldnt say these things if he knew his butt would get kicked literally and figuratively if he said such things. Completely the fault of the population by and large. As they say if you are willing to get ***ked there will always be someone to do the honors.Agree 100%. Only in India can someone get way with saying such stupid things which was so ill advised. This guy has some serious problems. I think India is in deep sh!t with the Nehru family once again at the helm of affairs after methodically destroying the fabric of what India and its culture is supposed to be over the years. And by the way were the rape charges against this guy dropped. Any info on that from anyone.
fineleg Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 A solution can only come only if the majority acknowledge that there is problem and are capable of putting the finger on the issue to identify the pain points. You used to say the solution involves they have to either convert or leave the country. How would a person like Zaheer Khan react if he is told that? The thing is there is a problem. But not all Muslims are part of the problem. There are those who are patriotic to India. Treat the criminals as criminals and punish them. Just as any other criminal would be punished irrespective of the religion. You can say it is tough to 'find' the criminals. Yes, but then what else can be the solution but to punish the criminals? (and not the innocents) PS: Pls. dont bring other threads into the discussion as soon as you see my name. I am writing what I genuinely feel about this. Your choice if you want to provide what your idea is about the "Solution"
fineleg Posted December 31, 2010 Posted December 31, 2010 I'll ignore the personal taunts on lacking morality, honesty etc and respond to the remaining. What about the millions that suffer and keep suffering because of this nonsense. Shouldnt they be the first ones that you should worry about if you want to go down the "but ohh what will they think" line ? And hence I am saying the criminals have to be punished. I am not saying Let the people who are suffering continue to suffer. I am saying that our country needs to be safer for people to live. I am supportive of that idea. How about trying to find out the reason why this community has such a loooong track record when it comes to things like sessation , violence , eviction, ethnic cleansing and things of that sort? How can you sit there stare at the evidence that is in tons and lie thru your teeth that Religion has nothing to do with it and that there are criminals everywhere ? Does it not bother you ? It does bother me, and I do accept that some of the people of certain religion indulge in these things. What is meant by passive support? And if people are passive - they may be ethically wrong, but how will you punish them? And is banning a religion nationwide a solution? I mean is such draconian step even a realistic solution? Communication, education and awareness is the long term method to educate people and integrate them. It wont happen easily. But alienation will only cause a wider problem and rift. In the meanwhile, do everything the Govt can to catch and punish the active criminals *and* the masterminds behind the heinous crimes. I dont know - this is not a easy problem and no easy solutions. But I'm open to hear what is the other proposed solutions, if mine wont work.
fineleg Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 Boss bhai, You thought I did not respond. You are wrong. I only exited since you are not answering the questions. You always answer a question with a question or set of questions. You tell me what the solution you propose, my final answer (in prev post) there is not getting any real response from you. You answer that in the thread and I will respond back. You are asking me the question on the "one community finding itself wrong" - but pls. tell me what the solution (as you see it) is instead of vague terms like "getting to the bottom of it" I dont know - this is not a easy problem and no easy solutions. But I'm open to hear what is the other proposed solutions, if mine wont work.
fineleg Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 I asked you YOUR opinion on why ONLY this community has issues with the majority ? IMO - it is because there are fundamentalists stirring up the wrong passions amongst the masses. Those are the nutcases. It is not that the religion asks them to do so, but there are people with fundamentalist viewpoints who do that. My point is to aim the arrows in the right direction, and not do carpet bombing. And also, 1. in your opinion - why does this community have issues with the majority? My opinion is in the first paragraph of this post. 2. If you have solutions to propose - do spell them out. If the solution is hidden in some answer to your question or in your viewpoint then do shed light on it.
Kriterion Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 This is just YOUR usual political correctness showing up again. The truth is quite the opposite and it requires a study of their holy book and the Sunnah ' date= the Hadith. You will also have to look at hhe History behind how Jews and other tribes vanished from Arabia during the 7th century and once you do that you will realize that whats happening today is nothing new. I can point you in the right direction but I suspect you aint intereseted in that. If you dont have the time to read all of that I can point you to a bunch of my posts with links . In short they have a long history of intolerance (to put it very mildly). This is the aspect that people need to come to terms with instead of copy/pasting goody-goody stuff from the various manuals of liberalism without knowing jack about the roots and origins of this ideology. allow me to interject here, but doesn't the word "study" imply some intellectual capacity beyond mere regurgitation or copy/paste jobs off google? the word study would imply some sort of scholastic effort, no? or has the meaning of the world "study" changed in the 25 years since i learned english from watching Sesame Street? jut for example, i showed you a "study" of the word "as-sa'ati" as found in the "moon splitting" verse of the Quran of 54:1. i compared that word to all other instances of the same word in the same book. in response, you replied with something inanity along the lines of "how can such a simple concept evade billions over centuries?" so i'm supposing racism, being completely devoid of scientifically logical empiricism isn't embraced by millions of people in 2011... so what exactly have you "studied"? what exactly are your credentials on this forum, beyond picking fights with everyone of a different viewpoint and then lambasting others as intolerant? can you name a single thread where you have actually admitted to an error of any magnitude? eff that, are there any posts where you've ever conceded an argument? how can we be so sure that you alone on this earth are perfect? isn't the claim of perfection the reason why Muhammad is a crazed looney? so what does that make you, a person with equivalent claims and relative zero achievement?
fineleg Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 The truth is quite the opposite If the truth is quite the opposite, how come we have several Muslims in India who are patriotic to the country? A Zaheer Khan or Irfan Pathan or Abdul Kalam or AR Rahman - these are famous folks ok, but you have other regular citizens as well. So, if they are all from the religion, then are they all bigoted fundamentalists as well?? The problem is not inherent just because they follow Islam, the problem is because of fundamentalist mindset. Otherwise, we have to conclude that every Muslim is like this only, since they are all following that religion, right? What say you? And if you can tell me your stance clearly, that will help. Are you saying all Muslims are like this? Are you saying we cannot allow that religion in India? Whats your stance?
fineleg Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 ^ Passiveness or laziness or apathy is not the same as active destruction. So 99% are involved in active criminal activities or instigating it!?? And only 1% are the exceptions who are not involved in it!?? You cannot punish passiveness/laziness/apathy in any legal manner in these cases. You have to punish the active people who are either behind the scenes masterminding criminal activities or carrying it forward. Anyway - you will tell me that this solution that I'm saying is not possible. Ok. So, what is your proposal? Tell me that.
fineleg Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 you will never ever even begin to work on a solution. You are getting it wrong, it is not about me working on the solution. I am asking a simple question of what is YOUR proposal for the solution - given that my proposal wont work as per you. I gave my proposal but you have classified it as not implementable so I'm asking you. If as per you - religion is the issue - then what is your proposal? You dont need me to agree that religion is the issue, for you to state your proposal.
fineleg Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 In short they have a long history of intolerance (to put it very mildly). Regarding the post#65 - you pointed me to: Perhaps they have a long history of intolerance, and perhaps you know history better. Rulers have always done some amount of plundering and capturing countries etc. Is it restricted to just Islam? There are Hindu rulers who took on the path of war too. Anyway I'm not defending that, that is history Even so, we need to look at what is there now. In a secular country, people are free to practice any religion they want. Dont you know Muslims in your real life? at work or at neighborhood or college or school? What do you think of them? Just coz they are muslims, are they going around spouting nonsense?
fineleg Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 I am not required to read and understand the ins and outs of every religion. Suffice it to say - that there is freedom for different folks to practice whatever religion they want, or if they dont want to believe in God or religion, thats upto them too. Thats the personal independence and thats a choice that each person makes on their own, or follows as per the family into which they are born. So, now do we take away fundamental constitutional rights to people? And like I said - If as per you - religion is the issue - then what is your proposal? You dont need me to agree that religion is the issue, for you to state your proposal.
