He said Raina was a product of T20 overkill and that he looks terrible against anything short. The whole point was to compliment Tendulkar so the anchor brought up the point that India are set to lose their senior players in quick time due to retirement. Croft said, well they will have a big whole to fill as only a few of these bats are proven with impress away from home averages wheras the a lot of the younger generations can only do it in India. At this point he used the phrase 'Flat track bullies He also said players like yuvraj follow bollywood ladies and rich cars .. What u think guys.

I think what India should do is is to calm down IPL because india has a lot of talent towards its batting and you dont want someone who has the potential like raina to follow someone like yuvraj personally i dont care what yuvraj does off field eg. ladies i dont even care what akhtar does as long as they perform on the field am i right?

Robert croft mentioned some excellent points- in summary he said given how india have improved their overseas batting performances throughout the order (and not just rely on tendulkar as in the 1990s) that it was sad to see Raina's performance today when he was unable to play fast high bounce, bowling as it was a throwback to indias dismal overseas batting performances pre ganguly/wright era where there were batsmen in our line up who simply werent fit for test level.

a lot of people are unfairly insulting robert croft. he only called raina a flat track bully....and he is! also he defended india's batting performance in 1st innings by saying that day 1 was far far harder to bat than when south africans batted and that by winning the toss south africa had a huge adavantage. he actually wants india to win this series and was annoyed bcci didnt organise a practice match. it is the fault of the creator of this thread for misrepresenting him in the first place!

Similarly on a fast pitch in SA last year, 180 and 169!!
