thanks for explaining to me what spot fixing means.....LOL. the only reason spot fixing has been mentioned is because of the NOTW (uk newspaper) sting which exposed only spot fixing. but it is obvious that they are involved in entire match fixing as well. anyway depending on how your asked to spot fix it can equate to match fixing anyway, if the demands are severe enough. it is obvious they fix entire matches from simply looking at the games they lose from unloseable positions and when mohd asif told veena malik: "stop praying for us to win......we're not gonna win a single game in australia". looks like something more than spot fixing going on there. So therefore my original point about mohd asif having great figures despite match/spot fixing still stands. "they hardly won anything last year for them to dramatically win the next one". who said we were only talking about last year? pakistan has been schizophrenic with their performances for a long time. here are some examples: Pak vs Aus neutral test series in england: lose first test convincingly against australia and then win the second test out of nowhere against all hope Pak vs England odi series 2010: get beat convincingly in first two odis and then blow england away in the next two odis. final deciding odi get thrashed. sydney test match vs australia 2010: they are beating aus convincingly in all area of play for the first four days of the test match and then suddenly from a position from where they cant lose, they do there are many more example that can be given Micky Arthur and Shane warne are two other people who agree on this specific point he was also on drugs? well he didnt fail a drugs test during his comeback period and still had excellent bowling figures.....hence you cant take that away from his performance.

To put it in a very polite manner - there are many ways of earning money other than taking cash for bowling no-balls in a match, like honestly playing well in a match, which would result in more money in form of a central contract from the cricket board or more advertisements or a stint with some foreign county team (in Eng orr Aus for example). There are other cricketers from other countries who also don't get so much money (ex- Sri Lankans and West Indians) but I have'nt heard any of them doing this sort of thing - why is it that only Pakistani cricketers do such things? 2. So you mean if a cricketer was useful (and therefore deserved more cash) and then he did spot fixing, you would have no problem with it? If the answer is YES, then honestly speaking- you should be absolutely ashamed of yourself for even thinking that players should cheat just to get some extra money. 3. If he plays honestly, then I'd say it is definitely unfair that he gets less money than Ishant Sharma (or any other young cricketer) BUT if he cheats then he does not deserve to earn even a single penny because he has brought his country, his teammates and the entire game to shame through his actions.

How is it fair a brainless slogger like Afridi becomes captain of test team/ odi team/T-20 team and Classy stroke maker like Yuvraj Singh cant even find a place in playing in tests. How is fair classy player like Vijay cant a find a place in team while useless players like farhat and Akmal play so many tests.
