I've been a Indian Cricket fan for many years so I've accepted the fact that we aren't ever going to have a primo fast bowling unit, I'm at peace with that. But after watching the first test against South Africa this last week and seeing Jaidev Unadkat make his test debut, supposedly our best fast bowling prospect struggle to hit 130k doesn't it irritate you that New Zealand (the same New Zealand that is on a downward spiral in international cricket) can wheel out a 18 year old that has been playing domestic cricket for only three months who can bowl at an excess of 150kmph. Why, why must we be tortured like this. It really just isn't fair (

No not at all, but just take a quick look at Aussie and SA fast bowlers, then compare with the puny and pathetic indian fast bowlers..I mean look at Unadkat, looked like he had spent his childhood in darfur the poor lad.

Welcome to the real world, where you don't live in the delusion that pace is not required and bowling at the same speed of 120ks, after cutting down your initial pace of 140ks is a noble thing to do. Having just 2 150+ bowlers in a population of over a billion shouldn't hurt, right?

Ok so meat is the criteria? I dont wanna be dellusional saying we have the no.1 bowling attack n so on, the fact is even the Bangladeshis cant trouble batting line ups more than we can...the bowlers have clicked like once in 10 matches...otherwise its been just the batsmen.

Lets Mcgrath for eg., regardless of him eating meat or not, u think meat played a role for his line and length? Also, u think these guys gulp pounds and pounds of meat? or is part of their meal? Kapil was a great bowler, someone from haryana - his diet must have included lot of diary, pulses and chicken ( not red meat )

Troll? :hmmm: I don't think Unadkat was/is our only fast bowling prospect. Only Phaaast bowlers make the best bowlers is not true otherwise McGrath would not have become a legend.

who is the 18 year old 150k bowler in newzealand..right now there is not a single 150kph bowler in the world..after akhtar, lees, bond..i do not see any bowler bowling over 150 kph in tests...forget about a full over or spell even just 6 bowls in a 6 over spell..can u name anyone?
