I am not feeling nervous. I am feeling sad. I wanted an equalled series or a series win in SA, and we are losing the series at Durban. I would have felt nervous if it was 300 to win for SA and 7 wickets in hand for them. But it is only 192 for SA to win, we need 7 wickets to win. There are approximately 180 overs left (not including weather interruptions) I desperately want a Test series 1-1 in Durban to go into Test-3. But, What do you think will happen with 7 wickets in hand and folks like Kallis, ABDV, Prince and Boucher? I say South Africa are taking this Test if we at least get 90 more overs of play in the next 2 days. I am putting ICF$300,000 on this statement (if India wins with whatever #overs, I will still hand over the $300,000 to anyone who bets) if anyone is willing to take that. (All you billionaires who will laugh at a 'small amount' can happily stay away, but this is what I will stake, and if someone is willing to take it on, you can post). So, if you are confident of India win, let me know.

India clearly has the upper hand. On a wicket where bowlers are still getting good assistance, scoring 300 in the 4th innings to secure a win is going to take some perfect batting and SA has already faltered in that quest. It will be closer than we would all like, but I don't expect SA to cross 250.

Try this. India have set South Africa 191 runs to win in the 4th innings. RSA are 3 wickets down for no runs. Feel better?

And in some random corner of the world, a South African fan is thinking ‘South Africa are chasing a world record 503 for a win and they’re 314 for the loss of three wickets..’ :D How about this to make you feel even better? (I can vouch for it because that is exactly what I imagined this morning to calm my nerves….:D) - South Africa are chasing 303 for win. Their opening partnership put on a 100 in 20 overs without a loss of a wicket, Indians came back strongly in the last hour, picking up 3 wickets and conceding only 12 runs.

However, in this case, going by the way that in last 2-3 months few of the test matches - which could have very well gone the other way, eventually turned in our favor. Don't know why, I am not getting good feeling about this, this is going to average out those recent instances :((.

Thats the same feel I get. We've been pushing it too far, too often. Getting really close situations and edging out over the last some months. Law of averages.

Dislodging Kallis looks the most difficult ATM , he has already got a life. Almost nicked it to MSD of Zak, i doubt he will make anymore mistakes. And to add to that ABCD will be scoring quickly as long as he stays our chances of wining this will go down.

Kallis was also dropped by Pujara on 0 albeit it was a tough chance.

if it goes close then right...I don't think it will be close in any way..if they win they win comprehensively and if they lose it will be more than 70-80 runs

You may be right about that. It really depends on the 1st hour. If Kallis and ABDV get in, then its SA, if we get 2 early wickets then it gets interesting.

I am pessimistic when it comes to sports and all day i have thought ways that we could screw this up.Zak being injured,Kallis scoring another ton,an agonizing last wicket loss etc.This match is ours to lose but it aint over by a long shot.
