Early talks for England. They have to do better than this. Ashes is hyped no doubt, but still remains the middle of the table clash. Winning a few matches in style against Australia at this point of time does not earn them the title of the best. Let them repeat the performances against India. The last time they played India on their home ground, all they could do was throw jelly beans at ZAK, who in turn, destroyed their batting. They should win a few more against tougher opponents and then talk. The no1 position is all theirs if they can keep winning more consistently than India.

Yes, I think the genesis for this is 2001 series against Australia. Because we don't have any history of mental toughness before that. I think Ganguly and Wright have something to do with it. But this team can bounce back from any situation.

actually no, we matched them, and then proceeded to beat them in the CB series. We would have won that series had it none been for that umpiring debacle.
