One of the Best Year in Sports

I think 2010 was best year for the sports in general No. 1 Test ranking for entire year. Some dogged performances in Test cricket to show we are true No. 1 iOne of Best Commonwealth Game Ever One of the Best Asiad. Davis Cup World Group after some time. Beating Pakistan in Hockey couple of times. Did I miss anything? All and all superb year. One to remember

Vishy Anand retained his world crown. Saina winning a number of super series trophies.

Siana Nehwal's exploits on the world of badminton. She won three championships or something. Also, Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna was conferred on her. V. Anand regained #1 in Chess last month. :isalute:

Din't we win Asia Cup this year..Wow this year has been amazing.

The sad part was our Hockey WC campaign. On hindsight, IHF did a stupid thing by awarding the team the cash moniez right after their win against Pakistan, instead of waiting until the tourney was over (they fully deserved it..I got nothin' against it). Hosting in our country, we must have done much better. Semis at least :((
