I do love your arrogance! Your team is obviously far far too good to have an in form Ravi Bopara? Instead you include Luke Wright - the man who doesn't bat and can't bowl. Your team is also far far far too good to include a quality spinner and hard hitting middle order player like Sambit Patel? So instead you include Tredwell and Yardy, two guys who spin the ball less that Yuvraj Singh. Then there is Jonathon "my strike rate is 50" Trott - a pick that Greg Chappell would be proud of. Morgan - the finisher who can't play spin. It is really quite simple. Your arrogance has lead to you pick the wrong squad. In 4 weeks time you are gonna start paying. If the world cup consisted of playing in Australia in Test matches you would be right on to win. But it isn't. This performance of a team who's over confident and underprepared. PS Re Sambit Patel - this is the world cup of cricket you are going to be playing not the world cup of cricket Triathlon. We are going to see how you get on with just one half fit spinner and a long long long tail.

If you think losing is the ideal preparation to win a tournament you should still be hot favourites. ...But surely on that basis Bangladesh are hot favourites too right? And they're are also in your group so that's a bit of a worry. But they your are going to easy wins against India and SA right? You are right you don't have you front line bowlers, but its been your batting that's let you down hasn't it? So the two I pointed out Patel and Bopara are batsmen you desperately need. You've picked just one spinner (somebody who actually spins the ball) and walking wicket in Collingwood. So good luck. I think you'll need it.

Surely its only a matter of time before Paul "Sachin Tendulkar" Collingwood scores a double hundred in an ODI, or Michael "Bevan" Yardy becomes the best finisher in world cricket or in fact until Matt "Adam Gilchrist" Prior scores a four! In all honesty I wish you all the luck. With that squad you'll need it more than most.

I've yet to see it in ODIs from Luke Wright, Jonathon Trott, Mike Yardy and Matt Prior. I don't think this will change in the WC.

About Bopara, he's crap and way overrated even Rohit Sharma is way better than Bopara. Samit Patel was asked to lose a few pounds and if the can't maintain discipline and can't go on a diet n exercise, what kind of an athlete is he? England batsmen clicked in the 1st odi whereas the bowlers did in the 2nd, England didn't play terrible, they just came across a better Aussies unit. Aussies are number 1 and world champions so minnows like England will always be intimidated.
