Once you get past ABDV and Amla team can fold rapidly. i said the same thing when their squad was announced two months ago. but they have addressed their lower order weakness by playing van wyk at 7. he is a damn good batsman for that position and played a vital innings today. dropping botha was a good move, as he doesnt offer anything different from peterson. the only problem SA have is their inability to win matches that go down to the wire. they can never do it. their upcoming matches will be VERY interesting to follow. ireland and bangladesh...i sense an upset. bangladesh could do it, i think they are due a good game. so SA isnt guaranteed a QF spot by any means

Manny_Pacquiao Posted March 6, 2011 Posted March 6, 2011 i just noticed that SA's next match is against India! interesting. a loss to india, and they would have lost 2 of 4. that will put them under pressure to win 2 of 2 against ireland and bangladesh. not saying they are gonna get knocked out before the QFs but its possible... a win against india guarantees QFs. so this next match is gonna be huge for them.

SA also suck at playing spin, so bangla have a good shot at taking them down as long as their batting lineup scores some runs
