The girl alleged in an FIR lodged on Thursday last that the accused Umesh Swami invited her to a city hotel on the pretext of discussing their marriage proposal and then drugged and ****d her. The alleged incident took place in November last year after which Swami got married with another girl, the police said. "The family member of the girl claimed that the major's family had approached them with a wedding proposal and after initial discussions, both the families agreed to the wedding. "After the families' verbal committment, the major called the girl to a hotel where he alleged drugged and ****d her. After the incident, he went back on duty and later got married with another girl," Surendra Singh, in-charge of Kardhani police station said. "We have recorded the statements of the girl and her family members. Now we are verifying the major's unit to carry out further course of investigation," he said. major need severe punishment.

There are so many cases of women crying r * * * if the man does not want to marry.If these women have such great objection to having sex and not being married to that person,there is a simple solution..don't have sex before marriage.These women make a mockery of something as heinous and offensive as *r***.They are an insult to the poor women who actually go through the trauma of r ***. The law needs to be clear in such cases .At the worst these cases should be tried under fraud or false promise...not under r * * *.

According to Indian law, if a man persuades a woman to have sex with him by promising marriage and subsequently does not keep his promise, it amounts to ****. The definition of **** is something along the line of having intercourse without consent and if the consent is obtained under false pretext, it is not valid consent. I feel the law is idiotic and needs modification.

They need protection against false verbal promises made between two adults under the tree in Brindavan gardens :facepalm:

Why do these "victims "have sex before marriage when they feel sex without marriage is wrong? How can anyone be stupid enough to agree to have sex with a guy who promises marriage in future? You can't be conservative in your mind but open minded in action. This particular case is about an arranged rishta.Why go alone with the guy to a seedy hotel where you can be exploited?This is not a part of the deal in arranged marriage.And even if things happened the way she says ...why didn't she make this charge earlier?Why only after he got married to someone else?Were they upset about him marrying someone else.If he did drug her and **** her...did she want this man to marry her?Was a rapist acceptable to the family?

Depends on the girl and the kind of society she lives in. In most parts in India, a man would not get married to a girl who is not a virgin. They are automatically classified as "characterless". That's the reason why most **** cases in Indian interiors are not reported. And don't blame the males for this. Women have played their roles in building this culture as well. Most mothers would advise the sons not to marry a woman who is not a virgin. The women who have boyfriends or have been ****d are taunted predominantly by women of the society and not men. The gossips of characterlessness are spread by women of the society. It's the nature of the society including both males and females that create such situations.
